Classy and amusing

Inver Lodge is an upmarket splurge which provided for us, insight into the upper echelon of Scottish culture. Primarily catering to the hunting and fishing set, you could see casually dressed dags at night, transformed by shirt and tie, plus-fours hunting garb at breakfast. Most amusing. Not so amusing was being woken at 2am by a fire (false) alarm, but then we had a chance to see all the other guests in their PJ's. Again amusing. What other Hotel would have my favourite mountain framed by its backyard window?

Views are spectacular

Our room had breathtaking views over the loch and out to the western isles. We drifted off looking at pearlescent sunset and woke to a misty dawn. The room was spacious and well furnished, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. We had room service which was well presented and served, but the food was quite bland so a little disappointing, perhaps the focus is in the restaurant service. Overall, a pleasant stay, if a little overpriced.

Undoubtedly five stars

From the moment you walk in you are treated wonderfully - staff are extremely please t and very knowledgeable and helpful. Our room had the most amazing view over the inlet/dock/port. The facilities in this hotel are to be see to be believed furnishings are devident and luxurious and very comfortable - there was a full size billiard table in its own dedicated room that you could have your drinks brought up to. A card room, a sitting room, lounge room, massive open fire sitting room, drying room, etc and a fantastic dining room in which we had the most amazing food worthy of a top world class Resturant Our only problem was that we only stayed here for one night - we would have liked to stay longer and soak up the atmosphere of the accomodation itself. Defiantly a must if you are in the area. Worth every cent or in this case Dollor - not cheap but loved it all never less - only thing I would mention was that I was surprised they allowed dogs in the hotel. I will plan to go back -

Good views, lovely hotel

Very nice high spec hotel. Rooms have everything you could need. Hotel has a drying room which is handy on a wet day. Great view of the bay. Staff very nice and helpful. Negatives: very limited food menu, nothing for vegans. Seems very overpriced compared to similar hotels in the highlands.

Great Views

Beautiful Hotel in lovely location, but details inaccurate as reception was not open until 10.30pm. At 8.00pm we found not all lights were worjking in the bathroom and there was no one at reception, ended up speaking to some one in the restaurant who offered to come and change the bulbs. The menu in the restaurant was very poor for this standard of hotel, only one fish dish (Cod) and it was potatoes with cod.! The Continental breakfast was also poor for the price, toast burnt and the fruit compot looked as if it had come from Tesco, although it was in a glass pot.

We had a two night stay at the inver lodge and had dinner there on the first night. Check in was quick and easy and the receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lounge area was large enough for people relaxing to spread out. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. This was the only time during our ten day trip that we had starter, main and dessert for dinner, which was really good.

The view was exceptional, the room very comfortable. It was difficult to get into the bath to have a shower as there was no rail to help.

We had a room with an amazing view straight on to Loch Inver. All the staff were very nice and friendly and a lovely breakfast. The premises were very clean and tidy as were the rooms and bathroom. My only adverse comment would be that the building is quite austere and lacks atmosphere and would probably benefit from a piano being played quietly in the background. It definitely needs something to lift it's spirit.

Heavenly Inver Lodge Hotel

A perfect stop off place hidden away and off the beaten track. This welcoming hotel was just what we needed. Amazing views of the harbour, perfect walks and beautiful nearby hidden beaches. We loved our stay here. The staff were friendly, accommodating and recommended areas of interest. The beautiful sunset was a bonus

Two night family stay

Nice facilities, good food and great service in the restaurant from Laura. A bit short of staff, with a somewhat limited menu and not all hotel facilities re-opened after Covid.

A friendly hotel in a great location. But Overpriced for what it is. Food was good. Room was a little tired I had to use one of our bags to stop the door rattling.

2 night on our tour around Scotland.

This hotel may not look impressive from the outside but the interior more than makes up for it. The view from the rooms and restaurant is stunning. A recommended stop on the NC500 with a very warm welcome and great food.

Ok

This is advertised as 5 star, I’m not sure how it got that rating! It’s not a very attractive building and the inside is much better than outside. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly. The food was ok, not amazing but no complaints either. However, the pillows smelt of old pillow and were rather off putting. Although the bed linen was clean. It certainly wasn’t a 5 star rating in my opinion but the staff did try very hard
