Allting var bra förutom att kaffe var dåligt och man måste köpa kaffe om man inte vill ha bryggddålig kaffe. Pålägga var slut och det blev inga påfyllning trotsat frukosten var ca 40 minuter till innan de stänger.

Settimana di fine estate

Prenotazione senza nessun tipo di problema. L'hotel ci chiama per scegliere il lettino per il bambino: molto attenti! Portoferraio e' molto vicino e l'hotel e' facilmente rintracciabile. La location e' bellissima: la spiaggetta di sabbia e' raccolta ed offre tramonti mozzafiato, a fianco di Biodola, piu' ampia e con qualche servizio in piu'. La stanza in hotel e' piccola ma condizionata, con bagno privato altrettanto piccolino, ma con ampia doccia. Siamo nel corpo centrale dell'hotel, mentre altre stanze sono sparse salendo lungo la collinetta che sovrasta Scaglieri. C'e' qualche scalino da fare, ma poi la vista del golfo e' notevole. L'accoglienza ed in generale il servizio e' eccellente; veramente niente da ridire. Stanza pulita regolarmente, hall accogliente (e' vero, spesso gira una bella cagnona, che pero' e' così sorniona e pacifica, che non disturba affatto), veranda all'aperto protetta da rampicanti e ombrelloni dove si puo' fare colazione e cena, se il tempo lo permette. Il parcheggio privato e' a volte un po' scomodo, ma c'e' posto per tutti. In spiaggia si va a piedi, perche' dista forse 50 m, a dire tanto! Colazione e cena sono ricche e di buona qualita'. Non ha preteste altissime, ma offre sempre un'alternativa di pesce, carne o vegetariano. Alcuni primi veramente notevoli. Buoni anche per i dolci. In definitiva una settimana veramente goduta, volata troppo velocemente, che ci lascera' un bellissimo ricordo dell'isola.

Charming, relaxing on the beach - but isolated

A very charming, nice, calm and quiet place located on the slopes to one of Elbas most marvelous beaches. The staff is polite, smiling and helpful. Convenient with half- board, but the food was too plain and simple, in general. Make sure to stay in one if the more expensive rooms with sea-view, up on the hill. We did, and it was awesome to sit on the porch watching the ocean. The thing we missed was a beach-walk or a village to stroll around in in the evenings. It's a bit isolated with nothing to do after dinner.

Gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen auf der Insel

Gut. Wir kamen am Abend spät an und das Personal hat uns noch ein Essen nach Wahl gemacht und uns über Busverbindungen, Wanderideen usw. informiert.Schönes Hotel, angenehme, ruhige Lage nahe beim Strand, ohne Verkehr, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
