Very convenient central location, newly modernised

The hotel has recently been modernised, very smart, in the "chrome, marble and mirrors" style. It has lost some of its old colonial atmosphere, but is smart and comfortable nonetheless. We stayed here twice in January, and on both occasions the rooms were clean and comfortable with big screen TV, hot water, hairdryer and coffee maker. Staff were friendly and professional, and although the menu in the restaurant was a little limited, the meals were good. On both occasions, when we arrived, they did not seem to know about our reservation - we were not on the list of the day's arrivals, but this was readily accommodated without problem.

Is modern better?

Stayed here 3 years ago, when the hotel was in its original form - I think the new "chrome-marble-& mirrors" decor style is somewhat more sterile than the hotel's original atmosphere. Having said that, our room was very smart and clean, and everything worked. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant staff. The restaurant menu is still a little limited, but the food quality and service are good.

La ubicación es buena, las condiciones del hotel en general bien falta un poco de mantenimiento, solo un elevador funcionaba lo que hacía que la espera algunas veces fuera larga. El Internet gratuito pero imposible usarlo muy malo

The rooms were okay, we were mainly there to sleep and shower. The hotel is undergoing modernization, so there is a lot of work being done on it. My room in particular, the shower door did not aling to close completely, the toilet bowl leaked and the phone in the room did not work. Cleaning staff was friedly and willing to make my stay comfortable. The front desk staff, mainly the head supervisor were not too friedly or accomodating at the begining.

Buena ubicación y sin ruido

El personal de recepción ya tenia mi reservacion a la mano me registre y me dio mi tarjeta de acceso. Por la hora no había servicio del restauran y me ofrecieron ir a comprar comida a un lado del hotel para que no saliera a exponerme en la calle. El bell boy fue a comprar tacos y un refresco que le pedí me dio el vuelto y una nota de lo que compro. Ya que no tenia un cobertor y estaba haciendo frió pedí el cobertor y me llevaron un edredón. En la habitación todo bien pero no tiene un closet y tuve que colgar mi saco en una silla. La tarjeta se ve ya muy vieja es conveniente que las cambien no es caro y si da mejor presentación. Deje mis datos para que me manden mi factura, aún no me llegado mas de 24 hrs de la hora que salí, espero que si me la manden.

The hotel was great. Just make sure you dont leave anything valuable in your luggage. My mom's wallet was stolen from her luggage, we approached the manager, but he did not do anything. I asked my mom to leave her wallet with her documents in the hotel because it would be safer than carrying them around, well I was wrong. Unfortunately I did not have time to go to the police

PESIMA ESTANCIA, NO REGRESO

Esta ha sido de mis peores estancias en algún hotel. No servia el aire acondicionado, no enfriaba, y aun cuando lanzaba aire se apagaba solito. No tiene Tv x Cable, solo los canales locales. Tuve 2 habitaciones, pedí una ampliación en mi estancia para una de las habitaciones y me dijeron que no había, por lo que tuve que cambiar de hotel, dejando solo una habitación ocupada, sin embargo al regresar y hacer el check out de la otra habitación me querían cobrar la que había desocupado, argumentando que seguía a mi nombre; todo esto aun cuando hice el check out de la primera habitación con el supuesto gerente. Lo único agradable son sus bell boys quienes se portaron a la altura de un gran hotel.

Buenas instalaciones, personal sin experiencia .

Las instalaciones estan renovadas, podemos decir que nuevas, eso es punto a favor. El personal de recepción pésimo, en ocasiones 5 personas en mostrador atendiendo a 1, y cuando estabamos 4 por ser atendidos, solo 1 persona atendiendo. De inicio te preguntan a traves de que o quien hiciste la reserva, en lugar de tener ordenadas las reservas por nombre, en fin administración, pero además te hacen que llenes una forma con todos tus datos, mismos que Deben de tener porque ya los proporcionamos via Expedia. La ambilidad no es su fuerte. Punto super negativo, fue que hice la reserva por 4 personas, y en mi habitación solo habia 2 toallas, solicité 2 mas, nunca las llevaron, igual que una plancha, volví a solicitar toallas, me dijeron que no habia y no se puede proporcionar mas. Increible respuesta. Posterior la persona de limpieza (3er piso hab 3#) me apoyó directamente con eso, la unica amable junto con el joven botones. La television no tiene Sistema de pago, solo los canales locales, lo cuales no tienen nada de programacion interesante. Al igual que las pantallas de area comun, no estan conectadas Por la noches es muy Ruidoso y molesto los condensadores de los minisplits, esto para las habitaciones hacia el centro del hotel. Por ultimo y muy delicado, no tienen control sobre el equipaje en custodia, si les dejas 2 maletas te dan un solo comprobante que dice 2 maletas, pero ese comprobante solo se lo asignan a una de ellas, a una familia le robaron el equipaje.

CAMBIEN DE CEDE!!! PESIMO TRATO!!!

pésimo!... el domingo a la hora del check out, por las prisas olvidé en la habitación 309 mi reloj, de acero brilloso, ultraplano swatch. No me dí cuenta de inmediato, sino al dia siguiente ya que estaba en casa. Lo reporté y me dieron toda la semana largas. Al final, alguien oculta la verdad, pues mi reloj ni reportado por la gente de limpieza y menos por la Ama de Llaves. 9 de mis amigas llegaron vía terrestre en sus camionetas, desde la entrada el viernes hasta el domingo no se sacaron del estacionamiento, al salir el domingo las camionetas ATASCADAS DE POLVO, ESCOMBRO Y HASTA MEZCLA!... estaban en el estacionamiento del hotel, y para colmo "le dieron un golpe a una de ellas rompiendo la calavera!", mi amiga se dio cuenta en carretera, por lo oscuro del estacionamiento. no puede ser posible, osea que, si lo desbalijan tampoco?.... y el colmo, se indignan. 3a observación, todas las mujeres que íbamos en grupo nos fuimos a un bar el viernes por la noche, al llegar los de recepción les revisaron sus bolsas cual delincuentes, o prófugas, no tenían derecho alguno, no les bastó y les quitaron una botella empezada.

Servicios con área de oportunidad...

En general el hotel es de mediana categoría. Limpio y luce reciente haber sido remodelado, sin embargo hay las siguientes situaciones: No hay en donde colgar las toallas dentro del baño. La banca (de cemento) ubicada dentro del baño se moja y no tiene sentido su colocación o existencia. Tienes que salir a cambiarte fuera del baño, lo cual no es una buena opción para hospedarse conjuntamente con otras personas y compartir la habitación. No tuvimos internet en los 3 días del hospedaje (algo que realmente es necesario, especialmente si tu viaje es de negocios o compras). El servicio de televisión es algo limitado, pocos canales. Es un hotel remodelado, bonito pero con servicios que requieren de mejora.

Conveniently located cheap hotel

Room has aTV that has no cable signal. Telephone in the room is usless, must of the time front desk does not answer your calls. Several lights were out. Staff was very nice. Parking lot was a plus in this City.

El servicio fue excelente, las condiciones de la habitación la verdad es que no fue lo mejor ya que la señal de la tv fue deficiente, la habitación se pidió para 3 adultos y 1 niño y nos dieron una habitación con una cama king size en la cual pues fue incomodo dormir, el aseo de la habitación la hicieron hasta muy tarde, no volveria a hospedarme en ese hotel ya que a pesar del excelente servicio que brindan se opaca con las condiciones de las habitaciones.

Gran decepción

La habitación que me tocó fue muy bonita pero descuidada porque el aire no servía, las ventanas atoradas, media sucia y pequeños espacios destruidos. El cable con 5 canales y nunca se pudo ver bien uno. Por otra parte aunque atendieron mi llamada, la regadera y lavabo tapados de origen. Comodidad de cama excelente. Regresar jamás!! y no se dejen llevar por el nombre de la cadena

Decent location, but not the greatest hotel..

TV didn't work.... For 3 days that I stayed, the a/c didn't work properly, they charge for breakfast and the rooms where dirty Specially the showers
