Perfect for one person

Stayed here for three nights, had basic kitchen facilities and bathroom, but clean and tidy it was all I needed. Bed comfortable. Room was a good size.

No air conditioning

From the moment we entered the room we noticed it was hot. We had been allocated a room on the top floor that got full afternoon sun. Staff were unsympathetic and not particularly helpful. The unit was actually not too bad except it was let down badly by the heat and a very hard bed that your feet hung over the end of!

Hotel location is poor. Problems with wifi.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way down the coast towards Spain. We planned on heading into town for the night and having a few drinks. The option was a 50 euro 1 way cab into town or a cab to the train station, which was not far away. Decided the cost for taxi's was too much and drove to train station instead which worked out well. 3 Euro to park car and return to Bordeaux city for 2 ppl. The hotel was nice enough, reception was very friendly and there English was great. They also helped me print off itineraries for us we needed the next day. The wifi was poor, kept on disconnecting and I could not get emails on my iphone or ipad on the network. The speed of the internet was very slow. I would consider staying here again as it had free parking and was alot cheaper than staying in Bordeaux but if you want to spend the night in Bordeaux and party, dont stay here. You will spend just as much money on taxis too and from than a 4 star hotel in the city.
