Very happy with our stay. The kids loved it too. A great place to stay. Excellent condition, very very helpful staff. Their local knowledge is fantastic. Service is A++. Food is great too. All in all 6 out of 5 star. :)

The property in general was very good, good facilities and a very tidy hotel. We didn't appreciate having to clean the inside of our wardrobes of dust before we could unpack our cases and we most certainly didn't appreciate the constant problems with the lift card readers. We had to change our access cards 5 times in 8 days because the lifts would never recognise them and let us go up to our floor. All we kept getting was excuses....and new cards. The cards worked fine in the room door but you often needed to insert them 30 times in the lift to get it to read. Not good enough for a hotel of this calibre.

Very comfortable stay

We had an event at the SPICE convention centre so picked this spot for the location. We couldn't be happier with the room, the staff and the views. They offer complimentary shuttles to the airport and George Town, but not the convention centre, which would be a good addition especially when there's a big event on. It's not walkable at all, unless you want to take your life in your hands. But we got cheap rides back and forth with Grab. Buffet dinner was a bit disappointing for the price, but the other food we got at the Chinese restaurant was top notch.

Unfriendly staff, poor customer service

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are looking for staff that don’t greet you, don’t smile and avoid you. Definitely not a place to enjoy a holiday, was full of corporate business people having meetings. Food and beverage staff desperately need training to encourage guests to eat here, especially as there are no other dining options within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel as left a bad first impression of Penang for me and I’d much rather go back to Indonesia or Thailand where the locals actually make you feel welcome.

Great way to experience the last day in Penang the hotel has beautiful gardens and breathtaking views. Relaxing atmosphere , a sense of luxury and the staff is very friendly It was also great to have shuttle services to and from airport and main shopping mall I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel

This was one of the few hotels in Malaysia that could serve me my tea with soy milk rather than milk. I had a good a la carte breakfast.

Pleasant surroundings. Comfortable, but like all hotels in the area needs a facelift to bring in into this century. Good shops, restaurants and the industrial area are 10-15 mins by Uber (MYR 6-10).

Great view of Penang Bridge and surrounding from hotel room balcony

The new housekeeping staff throw away my tooth brush , tooth paste and shaver, thinking that they were hotel supplies. They managed to return the shaver and tooth brush . I threw away the tooth brush and shaver blade, better be safe as I don't know where they have threw them in the 1ST place.

We found the hotel to be very comfortably , however was a bit disappontent when one day we asked that the maid to come back later to clean the room, but on our retuned found that the room had not being cleaned or the bed made.
