The room is not cleaned and well maintained. The size was not on the standard with we paid. The toilet was dirty and the shower room only fits for the small kid. it's was a very poor and disappointed experience.. hopefully this comments help facilitate improvements.

I dont like property,first arrival on room the bed sheet dirty stain,spring roll wrap scattered on bed,need to request another bed sheet..2nd day there is a mouse running around,when i check my chocolate that i buy on duty free,one of chocolate,mouse ate that.very disapointed thats my gift to my friend.the 3rd thing the reception did not help us to get taxi...

Location is the only plus

The bathroom was no bigger than a wardrobe. Very difficult to manoeuvre. The bathroom was also dirty and the tiny basin took forever to drain away the water. Shower was good, with plenty of hot water, but I am a larger lady and it was very difficult to get in and out of the shower as it only had 2 tiny panels on the door. The last place I would want to be trapped. The bedding was clean but the mattress had a slant on it and it was lumpy. Very old inner spring which was horrendous on my back. Definitely won’t return as there are many better places for less money. The location was a real plus as it was very close to the station and lots of places to eat nearby. It also promotes laundry facilities, but it was out of order. Surprise. The two staff members I dealt with, were very friendly and helpful.

Great stay.. Value for money by far!

Pros: Superior internet, Bedroom - Upholstery, Bathroom, Staff. Cons: Hotel interior - furnishing, Breaky perhaps needs bacon ;) The Hotel bedrooms really impressed me. This perhaps is considered a budget stay, but size wise (I've been travelling Europe 3 months now.. Germany and France have huge rooms, including their cities.. but London is a reality check on size) and this place has decent space for what you pay for, and location. Moreso than Hotels I've stayed a night in here at twice the price nearby! The bathrooms have adequate room (space) and are quite clean, great tile work and look.. shiny. Plenty of towels! The bed itself (a double in my room) is very comfy and there sure are plenty of pillows.. no complaints here. No bugs.. Coffee in the room is basic but enough of it for at least 2 days upon entry. The tv is fairly small but I don't use it anyways. The internet (if that means anything to you) is 20-40 down, 10-15 up. That's twice the average speed of homes, back in Australia. Location wise. The station is nearby and there's plenty of food and drink (pubs) Breakfast is decent, perhaps more hot food.. but adequate. Overall I'm mighty impressed. That, 1 night has turned into 4, turned into 6 .. to take advantage of this place (as I have not risked another Hotel in London letting me down) Plus I have had to stall my trip for a while as I wait on news back home about my father's health. I recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a budget stay in London!

Great location near Paddington station

Booked the hotel in the morning of my first nights stay, no issues upon arrival in the early/evening. The hotel is a bit drab but as a single traveler only staying for 3 nights to use as a base for sightseeing it was fine as I only used the room for sleeping at night. The location was great and the other reason for choosing this place was free wifi in the room which worked really well. The room was small but it was expected, as was the bathroom, no issues with hot water, room was made everyday with clean towels. Free breakfast each morning was good. Downsides were a small stain on one side of bed which had soaked into the mattress, the linen was clean so I just slept on one side of the double bed. If it was a single bed I would've asked for a room change. The area is busy so lots of street noise could be heard from inside the room, the window doesn't block it very well. Not sure what happened the first night but someone kept ringing the door bell and banging on the front door, not sure if reception staff wasn't around or didn't want to let the person in. Just don't go booking the hotel with big expectations and it will be fine. Perfect to use as a base for sightseeing and not for staying in your room all day long. It's probably more a 2-2.5 star hotel rather than a 3.

It was dirty the worst place i ever been the bed was stained there ware insekts was only there 2 min before i started looking for a new hotel i don’t recommend at all the worst one ever i wouldn’t even wish that upon my enemies to have room like that

Terrible disgusting filthy hotel- DO NOT STAY

Absolutely filthy, dirt, urine stains on bedding, urine smell in room. Revolting bathroom, dirt everywhere. Windows cracked and covered in dirt. Do not stay here. We had to find another hotel as it’s not fit for purpose. Images on the hotel advertisement are not for this hotel they are fake. Worst hotel I have ever seen.

Filthy, Disgusting - Sleep at the station

I had the misfortune of booking this hotel for a recent trip to London (Dec 2024). Arriving in London at 1:30AM myself and my husband traveled over to the hotel. As we opened the door to head to the reception desk we were greeted by dated and run down interior and a carpet that was threadbare and filthy. The reception desk was not much better, held together with duct tape, filthy yellow walls and a receptionist that was slouched in a chair in a shirt that was a filthy grey/yellow colour (I can only assume if it had seen a washing machine this year it would have been white). On giving my name the receptionist threw a key at me and asked me to 'check the room before payment was taken' to which I asked 'what exactly am I checking for!'. I went down to the room which was accessed via a stairwell in the cupboard under the stairs to the basement level (which to be honest was more reminiscent of a dungeon). On entering the room the walls were covered in black mold, the bedding was filthy and there were a number of large bugs running around the floor of the room. I left the room immediately and told the receptionist that I was not willing to stay in that room. To which he replied, 'I don't have any other rooms but you won't be charged'. Myself and my husband then left and found alternative accommodation. You would think that would have been the end of my experience with this 'hotel'! However they charged my card the full amount and when I phoned them they refused a refund.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, EXTREMELY DIRTY AND FULL OF BUGS. We booked last minute due to train cancellations so were desperate and booked the first hotel we found that was close to the station. The bathroom was full of black mould, we didn't feel comfortable using the shower as it was so dirty. We went out to buy dry shampoo rather than showering there. There were cockroaches everywhere too. AVOID
