Spend the day on Grande Shores Ocean Resort's beach or relax by one of the aparthotel's 2 outdoor swimming pools. Each apartment provides a fridge and a coffee/tea maker, plus a DVD player and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. It was great! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because they were power washing the parking garage the whole time we were there and it was very loud and they started very early!

The positive of this hotel is location. Unfortunately, the benefit of its location, is far out-weighed by the fact that it needs a complete make over.

Overall, we like the stay but the property was dated. It had a little bit of a smell, and therefore probably wasn’t as clean and you couldn’t really communicate with the staff because they were not English speaking.

A week away from the cold

The staff working reception were all excellent. We lost power our first night and they accommodated us with another room. The hotel itself is ok. The walls are paper thin which makes it very noisy. Our bed was very hard and not very comfortable and although the ac worked it had 2 settings. Freezing and hot. The nice outdoor pool was down for cleaning which was disappointing. Overall it was good enough for what we paid and we had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Nice place to stay

A really nice place to stay. Friendly staff and a convenient location to local attractions. The only down fall is that if you have a larger vehicle then a two door sedan the parking is very tight at best.
