In desperate need of TLC. Warped floors, chipped walls, broken pool tiles, rusty nails & limited breakfast offerings. What a shame! It’s a wonderful location.

Nice hotel, excellent facilities and service

The hotel is nice, a bit basic but perfectly acceptable. The hotel facilities are really great, especially the spa services which (although more expensive than services available on the street) are really top quality. Hotel staff are amazing, really friendly and try to accommodate you in any way they can. The hotel breakfast is exceptional too, one of the best I've had in SE Asia.

Good location, clean bright room

A pleasant stay. we found the hotel staff to be very welcoming and ready to help. The room was large, light and comfortable. The breakfast provided good choices, plenty of continental and cooked options. The swimming pool was great -and the rooftop bar was a very pleasant place for an evening drink and a simple meal.

Light, bright room

The hotel room was light and had a really good feel. We had an extra bed in the room for a child but there was still room to move, although we don't spend much time hanging out in the room. The breakfast was included and there was a good variety of food available. There were several places to eat within 100m of the hotel and the Russian Market was less than a 5 minute walk.

Nothing like a 4 star rating!

The hotel lobby is hot as there was no air conditioning only one overhead fan! What made it worse was the fan was turned when no guests we're around. We has to ask for it to turn back on! Bad odour in bathroom, broken taps & yellow stains in the bathtub! Overall, felt very uncomfortable & distressed so ask to be transferred to a proper 4 star rating. After numerous phone calls and a 24hrs wait, we got what we paid for. I strongly urge Expedia Team to review this hotel's rating to prevent other hassles for more guests.

A little too far from the centre of Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh was overall very interesting, but if you enjoy walking around cities, this wasn't for me. The traffic is as you would expect from a place in this area of the world, but made much worse by the large 4WDs of the new rich, so you pretty much have to take a taxi or tuk-tuk, and it's a little difficult to tell the genuine from the not. On the plus side I never felt unwelcome or threatened, except from the verbal assaults of people 'offering' a lift. The CBD was the most interesting area for me, and the Genocide museum is a must-see

Homely

The building could do with a bit of an upgrade but was comfortable and pleasant to stay there. Staff were nice and it had a homely feel about it. Would recommend and will be back.

Oasis in a busy city

We had given the taxi driver the address of the hotel but street 123 would have worked better. We received a wonderful welcome and throughout our stay the staff were amazing. Helpful with visa hiccups, helpful with SIM cards, helpful with shopping, helpful with suggestions. Mike in the Sky Bar and Mr Eric and Diamond on the front desk were all a credit to the hotel and great ambassadors for their country. The rates were excellent and food pleasing. Pool was a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle. Handy to the Russian market, supermarket with Western food, and many other good restaurants. Will use this as a haven when in Phnom Pheng again.

Groovy 70's style

We stayed here for a week and found it a very welcoming hotel. Truly felt like home away from home. The decor was quirky but delightful. The pool was fabulous and refreshing unlike some other more upmarket hotels we have stayed where pool was too warm. The room also a blast from the 70's decor but it was spacious and the bed comfortable. Separate bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. There was an open closet but no drawers for clothes which was a bit of a hassle . They also know how to pore a decent cocktail for $4.

Nice hotel just outside the central area.

Our stay was fantastic with the staff always very helpful. The morning breakfast was buffet style, filling and tasty and definitely worth adding to our stay. The balcony view was amazing to look down on the hustle and bustle of the street.

Friendly, bright training hotel

We stayed 4 nights, the young friendly staff are all training in their areas and are keen to please. Make allowances for a little slow English, and have a smile. The view from the rooftop bar is really good over the area, but pay for your drinks as you go to avoid any massive confusion. Beds were abit hard, but the hotel is well located, $3 tuk tuk ride to town. Would stay there again!

Three nights in phnom pehn

Nice hotel, staff not as efficient as others we have stayed at. Nice buffet breakfast. Room was good, clean , and a nice balcony. The ground floor pool was too small, and mostly in the shade. He rooftop bar and pool was fantastic at night. Good location, close to the Russian market.
