Didn't actually stay at the Bush Inn Court, we got a message from this property just before check-in to say that the room we were booked in had a plumbing issue and was not available, so we were transferred to a 'sister' property nearby with no extra charges. This review is for the sister property which was the Westside Motor Lodge.

pleasant, convenient and friendly stay

The host was friendly and very helpful, making an effort to try to give me the sort of accommodation I had hoped for - changing the unit originally booked with no fuss. Everything was clean and tidy. I appreciated the 'Green' efforts made by Bush Inn Court.

Only an oil filled heater in room. New managers expressed amazement that no heat pump in room. Laundry facility pretty basic- 1 washer and I dryer. Shower pressure very poor. Unit was clean and tidy. New managers trying hard.

An unexpected issue at Bush Inn resulted in a change to Westside Motel Riccarton. We were called early and the communication was friendly and helpful, all sorted for us so no need to do anything except remember where we have to go. A mistake meant that we were changed to a small room, was sorted with an upgrade to a bigger room and a fantastic nights sleep :) Recommend due to the care they took of everyone to ensure they had a place to stay.
