Staff are brilliant.The breakfast was excellent

Overall the hotel was excellent. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast on offer in the morning was awesome. It was real value for money.

Close to Euston Station and Euston tube

We stayed 3 nights, very quiet hotel. You cannot hear the trains dispite its location to the train station. Breakfast was great and our room clean. Bar food good too!

Chosen only due to relation to start of tour.

Sorry but didn't enjoy our stay. Cobwebs in the room, cracked vanity basin & felt every spring in the bed. Appearance of the establishment was good overall but I would not chose to stay here again. Not good value.

Out of the tourist area. Double rooms very small.

An old building which had undergone a make over. Double room was extremely small, including the bathroom. We travelled with two medium sized suitcases. We found it necessary to climb over one suitcase to get into bed and the second needed to be zipped up to open the door! Hotel is located a fair distance from tourist area. However, being close to the Euston Station was very handy. Did not hear any noise from the station as entrance is located a reasonable distance from the Hotel.

Good location.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Room was a bit small but clean. The room facilities were good but no mini fridge. Breakfast spread was excellent with a variety of cooked English and continental breakfast. Check in and out was fast. Ideal location for underground and Euston Station which is a few minutes away. Restaurants and fast food outlets near the station.

Clean and comfortable

Definitely a hotel aimed at business travellers but clean and comfortable, and we got it for a good deal. Great if youre going in or out of Euston, but for those not familiar with London just beware Euston tube station can get a bit crazy busy. Room was clean and spacious enough, beds fairly comfortable. Would happily try a Thistle again, but wouldnt recommend for someone looking for a bit of character.

Coming from Australia I was expecting the room to be quite small but while it wasn't big, it was bigger than I was expected.The bathroom very clean and bright.Better than some other places I have stayed in London.Close to the station for ease of getting around.

Free breakfast buffet

Didn't know the hotel booking came with free breakfast buffet. it was such a big plus point for us as we get to save a lot on breakfast throughout our stay in hotel. bad point was the fire alarm went off at 6am on one Monday and I couldn't get through the reception. There's no announcement or anything from the staff if the fire alarm was just a false alarm or was there a real fire. guests just start walking down after the alarm didn't stop for quite some time. it's only till someone in the 1st floor passed the message up that it was just a false alarm. There's no apology from the hotel. Felt the hotel could have done better in handling this.

Not a good stay

The ground floor rooms are awful and small. We could smell smoke from the outside and they face a wall. We upgraded to a nicer room which is much more comfortable. Unfortunately during the second night the fire alarm went off and we all had to evacuate at 11pm. On the final night we could hear people laughing hysterically at 5 am. It was impossible to get a good nights sleep. Would not recommend staying here.

Really Good Hotel

Hi we had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel, Staff were so nice and a special mention to Nader who was so kind to us on arrival. The rooms and hotel were very modern and clean. The room itself was small but perfect for a 2 night trip. The location was great with 2 tube stops very near by. I would recommend this hotel

Ok for a night stop over.

Hotel is ok for a transit stop over for K/x, St Pancreas. But for people with luggage perhaps a service could be provided by the hotel. A mini bus? Asian hotels supply this type of service.

Perfect location for Eurostar

Stayed overnight ready for Eurostar trip the following day. Given the price I was more than happy with the Hotel great location, nice decor, very friendly staff, and the restaurant served great food! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Perfect place for Euston Station

The hotel exceeded our expectations with the staff being particularly friendly and helpful. Although we only stayed one night we were very comfortable and enjoyed our visit. It was the little touches that enhanced our stay, such as the espresso coffee machine in the room and the sheer spaciousness of the room. No need to take any toiletries here, everything you needed was provided. Overall, a brilliant stay which enhanced our weekend perfectly.
