You get what you pay for. Bring your own sheets towels and blankets. its in a sketchy neighborhood and looks like a crack motel.

Worst night ever

Worst motel I've ever stayed in. The default Midtown Motel picture is extremely misleading. Upon arrival to the hotel, a roach crawled out of the towels on the counter. No standard amenities available, such as soap. The lingering smoke and musty smell permeated our belongings. The surrounding area made us uneasy and unsure of the amount of safety the motel could offer. Do not consider if you have children or value your car, possessions, or life.

I would rather sleep on the sidewalk.

If i could go lower than 1 I would. I was going to leave and just sleep in my car, but decided to tough it out.

Not A Good Selection!!

The stay at Midtown was AWFUL! The room was dirty, the linen was filthy , the manager was drunk and had his (about 14 year old) son running the desk. When we arrived at 1 O'clock in the morning. By 1:45 we moved out and into another Motel. The manager said if we required clean sheets and a door that locked we could leave and get a refund, that was all I needed to hear. We were out of there. You should be advised to take them off your list. there was police activity, people laying on the ground outside of their doors, it was an all around horrible experience. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights and even at this price I could not stay 2 hours. RUN! not walk away from this place.

Great Family Getaway!

This was the worse place I have ever been in!! There were bugs every where, I had to ask for clean sheets, and then had to make my own bed, the room had a fowl odor to it, that wouldn't go away, I asked for extra pillows, and the Manager was kind enough to say he would ask HK for them, but this woman came to my room hollaring that there weren't any pillows, then he brought them in right behind her. It was a crazy night! I couldn't sleep because of the bugs!

Absolutely MISERABLE night- avoid like the plague!

My wife and I checked in, got our key, and went into our room. The first thing we noticed was the fact that our room had obviously either previously been a smoking room, or there had been a number of people smoking in the room anyway. There was obvious dirt in the carpet, including powders left in the carpet, and wrappers and old newspaper on the floor.. There were even pubic hairs left in the bedding. We requested to be released from our reservation, and allowed to go to another motel, but that was refused by the manager. Instead, he gave us another room. This one smelled less offensive, so we decided to go ahead and deal with it. This room, though, had a number of features not mentioned on the motel advertising. Off the top of my head, I would mention the two roaches and a silverfish I killed, the toilet that squealed like an asthmatic kid trying to learn to play the bagpipes, in addition to shaking the entire room, the orange powder left caked in this carpet, the room service lady who woke us up at 8:30 to see if we were checking out, the cobwebs that had formed in all of the corners, and the lack of a functioning deadbolt or chain lock. However, my favorite feature was definitely the gentleman who knocked on the door at 11 at night looking for his friend. When he saw that I wasn't his friend, he asked in I happened to have any Percocet he could have. Overall, I would rate this motel as being about as good a place to stay as the local I-95 overpass.

The worst hotel

This was the scariest place I have ever seen. The room was smelly, hot and just plain filthy. My son went back to the room after we left and said he found bed bug. Not only that the police stopped him and asked him why he was at the hotel. He was there because he was working at a football camp and they encouraged him to find another place to stay. Which he did. That place is not even worth any stars at all. It is obvious that no one has ever been at this hotel. He never stayed there. It was horrible. If you keep the hotel on the list of hotels you are wrong.
