should be brilliant..but isnt

This should and could be an amazing hotel and I suspect it once was but not anymore. All the facilities are there but not being cared for and there are too few staff so despite there being 3 bars you can only get served at one (check prices before buying I got charged €48 for 2 G&T's!). I dont know if it is the case but it feels like a hotel that has gone bust and is being run by a bank. Its nice but its disappointing because it should be great.

1st class hotel difficult to find

Enjoyed stay. Food 1st class and imaginative but menu limited in size. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff all of whom spoke English. Both above and underground parking - free. Gardens not maintained and difficult to use maze of walking paths. 16kms outside of Seville and on highway between 2 towns making it difficult to find. Drinks ordered via reception and bar has no atmosphere. Rooms extremely comfortable and well laid out and decorated. Extended stay by 1 night at start of an original 3 day stay. On extended day key card cancelled and bedroom not made up. This despite computerised systems. Very good wifi connection with good strength.
