Change your reservation
If you need to make changes to your trip dates, the number of guests, check-in time, or any other booking information, you can request a change in your guest account.
Desktop
1. Go to My Trips in your account.
2. Select the reservation.
3. Select Request change in the Change or cancel trip section.
4. Select new dates, change the number of guests, or write details about what you want to change.
5. Send the request to the host.
iOS or Android device
1. Open your Vrbo app.
2. Sign in to your Vrbo account.
3. Select Trips.
4. Select the reservation you wish to modify.
5. Select Change or cancel.
6. Select new dates, change the number of guests, or provide details about what you want to change.
7. Send the request to the host.
The host should confirm whether they can accommodate your request within 48 hours. If you don’t hear back within 48 hours, try contacting them. Your reservation won’t be impacted if the host declines the change or doesn’t reply.
The host will confirm any extra charges or refunds with you before updating your reservation. After the host updates your reservation details, you'll receive an email confirmation from us.
If you purchased trip insurance, please contact CSA/Generali at 800-349-8218 to modify your insurance policy.
