Premier Host is a free, invite-only program that recognizes owners and managers who consistently deliver great traveler experiences. As soon as you meet the eligibility criteria, you’re automatically added to the program. 

Note: The Premier Host program isn't available in Brazil, Japan, and Singapore. 

Eligibility 

Effective Date: January 1, 2024 

To achieve Premier Host status, all listings in your account must meet the following requirements: 

  • An average review rating of 4.4 or higher (shown in your dashboard) 
  • A booking acceptance rate of 95% or higher 
  • An owner-initiated cancellation rate of 1% or lower 
  • 3 or more Vrbo reviews 
  • At least 5 bookings or 60 booked nights 

The Premier Host criteria is changing in 2026. To achieve Premier Host status after January 1, 2026, your listing much meet the following criteria:  

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 

Premier Host status is awarded at listing level. That means Individual listings can achieve Premier Host status by meeting the following requirements: 

  • A booking acceptance rate of 99% or higher  
  • An owner-initiated cancellation rate of 0% 
  • 5 or more Vrbo reviews 
  • An average review rating of 4.6 or higher (shown in your dashboard) 
  • At least 5 bookings or 60 booked nights  

Meeting these requirements will also push your listing into the second Performance Milestone. Vrbo uses Performance Milestones to track your performance in the Vrbo marketplace. Learn more about Performance Milestones.  

Premier Host benefits 

The benefits of being a Premier Host apply to all properties in your account. 

Premier Host status includes the following benefits for each qualifying listing: 

  • Premier Host badge 
  • Premier Host search filter 
  • Automatic increase in search position 
  • Priority support with expedited 24/7 access 
  • Eligibility for inclusion in Vrbo email, social, and PR campaigns  

Track your progress 

You can track your performance on the Performance Milestones widget of your Vrbo Owner dashboard. It will display your current milestone and the metrics you need to meet to reach the next milestone. 

The Premier Host scorecard, located on the Performance page, also tracks your progress toward achieving Premier Host status. You can also download a report from the scorecard to learn more about your overall performance. Use the report’s filter and sort options to identify areas for improvement. 

Quarterly assessments 

We review Premier Host accounts every quarter. This ensures that we feature hosts who continually provide exceptional guest experiences. Quarterly assessments take place on February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. 

We review performance for the past 12 months and remove accounts that no longer qualify. You’re automatically added back into the program as soon as your account meets the eligibility criteria.
