Cozy year round lake house with amazing views of famous Lake Ontario’s sunsets. 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms with enough sleeping room for up to 10 people. Wood burning fireplace along with central heat for those chilly nights. Huge upper wood deck for cookouts, tanning, or cornhole games! Jet ski is available for a separate fee. Jetski rental is available with signed liability release agreement and coastguard approved PWC Boaters license. JetSki fee is $250 per day

Great View

Great Views and good location. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood , kayaking , biking and golfing . Many fun Port towns to visit close by. Andy was attentive and friendly. Easy check in. Great place for a family gathering.

Magical week on Lake Ontario

We had beautiful weather and the place was better than expected. The owner very accessible and takes great pride and care in his property. If we decide to stay on Lake Ontario again, we would definitely consider reserving this property again.

Thanksgiving get away

Great location. There was a snow storm but the area the house is in didn’t get dumped on. Beautiful, spacious with a ton of amenities! Beautiful view of Guffin Bay. We loved the fire place. The owners are very gracious with using fire place; garage etc.

Wonderful house with a great host!

Great house with a very flexible layout. We had 3 generations and our dog with us, and everyone had space and everyone had fun! Beautiful outdoor spaces, great kitchen, views from almost everywhere. Even with 2+ days of rain, the house was lovely and enhanced our vacation. Host was helpful, responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

This place is a great place to stay.

This was our second time staying here and some great improvements were done since our last stay. Perfect size for my family and has lots to offer for all ages. Love being able to sit on deck having my coffee every morning and sitting by the wonderful fire pit at night with a glass of wine. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Will be back and future visits.

Stay at Pillar Point

We stayed at Pillar Point to view the eclipse. This lovely lake-side home was spacious, clean and well-appointed. The deck, picnic area and fire pit area provided us with room to be outside and with beautiful views of the lake (and sky). Our host was responsive and accomodating. I couldn't be more pleased.

Family Vacation on the Lake

Excellent house in a perfect location! House was super clean and as exactly described in the listing. Kitchen was well stocked with all pots, pans, utensils, etc. that we need to cook family dinners every night. Neighborhood was also very quiet and owner was very quick to communicate all needed info. Enjoyed the view off the back deck - especially the sunsets. Perfect place for our family to come together and make good memories. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Family weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at this cottage with our multi-generation family (from young kids to grandparents). It is nicer than it appears in the pictures. The view is stunning. The deck is an amazing place to enjoy morning coffee and evening drinks while watching the sunset. The cottage was clean and the kitchen has everything a chef would need. The owner was always quickly available to answer questions. Overall, an amazing place to relax for a week.

Incredible location, super helpful host

My family (four adults, three kids 7-14) had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend at this home. We really enjoyed the proximity to water, the idyllic neighbourhood, and the comfortable bedrooms and accommodations. There was a sewage-related issue that caused a beeping alarm in the middle of the night, and a vague sewage smell for the final two days of our stay. The landlord was extremely responsive including middle of the night instructions to help me solve it.

House is beautiful! House was stocked with everything you can think of! Communication with host was great! The only complaint would be trying to get all the bedding and towels washed before checkout. When you utilize all beds, that’s a lot of bedding to wash and dry before 10am checkout. Not to mention washing all towels in the morning after showing. Just makes for morning checkout a little stressful.

Best Family Vacation!

Home was wonderful! We are a family of 7 and there was plenty of room for all of us. We all had an amazing time, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming. Home is located right on the water. Views and sunsets are breathtaking. We cooked out on the Grill, had a bon fire and made smores. Played corn hole. And much more. The home is located close enough to Clayton and Alex Bay. This is now our favorite place to be. We will definitely be returning. Host was wonderful. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

The views and outdoor deck space make this house fantastic. The inside layout is also nice, particularly the kitchen and dining area. I would not call it air conditioned, as it has one standing unit and one downstairs unit for the primary bedroom. Otherwise the bedrooms are just fans and windows. Mostly fine, if not too hot but also not quite how the listing makes it seem. The cleaning was okay, but not great. It needed some work on arrival, particularly the floors. Might be time for a new cleaning company if they are using one. The owner/ host was prompt and easy to work with. Overall great stay and would recommend!

Our stay in Dexter NY

The property was clean and well kept. We were visiting family in the area and location was close by. Owner was attentive. We had a fairly large party and waited until check out day to clean the towels and sheets. The dryer did not dry the clothes as quickly as we had hoped on the quick dry setting, so we had to hang towels and sheets that were not completely dried so that we could get everything done before we checked out at 10. I would just suggest to any future renters to do the towels prior to check out day so they don't run across the same problem and leave the sheets for the day of. Other than that everything went perfectly.

Awesome Property Right on the Water

This is an awesome property. It offers absolutely beautiful sunsets each evening. We are already looking forward to going next year. We had beautiful weather. We caught pike, bass, and perch. The water is unbelievably clear. The property is super clean and the owners just did major upgrades to the inside of the property. The outside is so pleasant to enjoy and very inviting. We spent a lot of time outdoors. The property is very well equipped inside and out. They have literally thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable and stress free as possible. There is plenty of parking for 2 cars/trucks and a boat trailer. We docked our boat at the marina down the street at the advice of the owner because storms can roll in very quickly. The owners were very easy to deal with and communicated check-in and check-out instructions very well. They checked in a few times to make sure we didn't need anything and were enjoying our stay. You will not regret staying at this property! It is the nicest VRBO property we have ever stayed at. 5 stars.

Beautiful Home on Lake Ontario

Our family (7 adults ages 17-82) had a wonderful week at this home. Beautiful kitchen and appliances with very large table for games and puzzles. We popped up a camp chair we bought with us to accommodate 7 seats. Owners have thought of everything. Colander, big mixing bowls, leftovers containers, mortar and pestle, sifter, grater and measuring cups. Fire pit is beautiful and the deck is wonderful to watch the sunset. Neighbors are very nice and lots to do in Clayton (research Clayton Chamber of Commerce) and the Watertown area. Wise Guys restaurant was a real treat (make reservations). The lower level master is spacious and comfy. However it is not easily accessible for seniors (which the pictures do show). All beds are comfy cool gel memory foam. Lots of bedding, towels etc. Our wifi access was good and we even used the printer for game rules. The owner’s communication is perfect. Thanks Andy & Michelle for sharing your home. Lots a laughs and memories made.
