Welcome to.....

Villa Giulia consists of three bedrooms sleeping a total of 6 persons.
One bedroom comprises two single beds and the other two bedrooms provide a Queen size bed in each.

There is a comfortable and newly furnished living and dining area with a fully equipped modern kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave oven and dishwasher. Villa Giulia has two bathrooms, one adjoins a double bedroom, while the other is combined with laundry facilities and a washing machine, also internal. All bedrooms and the living area have individual air conditioning and satellite television.

Outdoors we provide a BBQ area with table and chairs for six and more, while you relax and luxuriate on our modern sunbeds overlooking the pool and the pristine natural landscape surrounding the villa. There is a total of six sunbeds, pool towels and an added poolside shower for your use and convenience.
Children can play in the playground area on swings and a slide, all within the villa’s grounds and facilities.
In the evening, subtle nightlights in sculptured stone walls evoke a romantic ambience under an impressive night sky, full of clear bright stars. Such unique memories will make your holiday simply unforgettable.

We had 8 night stay in this beautiful villa, everything was outstanding and the swimming pool was a great size, all the surrounding areas we have been to why here , have stollen our hearts , especially Cavtat and Dubrovnik.. our host went over and beyond and so friendly… we will be back .

Great villa, fantastic location - perfect for what we wanted

Stunning property, fab pool, very well equipped and perfect for a group of friends. Although the villa is 3 bed we only needed two rooms. It would be perfectly big enough for families with children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful villa, superb hospitality

We had a fantastic holiday at villa Giulia. Such a beautiful villa with stunning pool and garden area, we picked cherries for breakfast and the kids were perfectly entertained with the play area and pool. Marlous and Miho were the perfect hosts, not intrusive of our privacy at all, but so kind and thoughtful, we enjoyed two beautiful home made cakes! We will definitely be back!

Villa Giulia/Cavtat

Villa Giulia is a short distance from the beautiful and picturesque Cavtat, where you can access the water taxis to Dubrovnik. The villa is idyllic and the owners Marlous and Miho are the most hospitable of hosts, who I cannot praise enough. This holiday has been our third stay at this villa and has been just as fantastic as before. I strongly recommend this villa and location.

Family holiday

Beautiful comfortable home from home with large perfectly manicured gardens, everything we could possibly need for a 2 week family holiday and our girls loved the pool. Outside bbq area was great. Marlous was a fantastic host and her fresh home baking was a lovely surprise. Villa Giulia is just as beautiful as it appears in the photos and surpassed all our expectations, highly recommended. Beautiful Villa

The villa was beautiful, the pool is a really good size, big enough to have a proper swim. Amenities were really good everything you could need. Garden was stunning, and really big, would be great for kids. You couldn’t have asked for a better host, Marlous is great she baked a cake for our arrival which we really enjoyed and left sweets for us which was such a nice touch, she also gave us a lift to the airport which is very close. I have recommended the villa to lots of friends.

Amazing!

What a fabulous holiday home! The property is beautiful, a credit to Miho! We had such a lovely stay, Marlous and Miho the owners are fab, nothing is too much trouble. The property is very clean and has everything you need, the setting is beautiful, very peaceful but close enough to Cavtat and Dubrovnik, Ubers are very reliable and quick. We all had such a good time and can’t wait to go back, we didn’t want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay here was truly magical! The home is lovely and the grounds are immaculate. We enjoyed spending time all over the beautiful yard; the kids played on the swings and on the grass, we explored the orchards, lounged in the daybeds, ate outside, raed around the fire pit, and swam in the pool. Marlous is a perfect host, warm and thoughtful (there was a homemade cake and groceries waiting for us!) and accomodating. We hope to come back and stay again someday.

Everything at the property, home and host were 5 star! Our only regrets were we couldn't stay linger and it wasnt warm enough to use the pool. The house was CLEAN! Thats extremely important to me. The host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and helped out during different instances. I'd highly recommend staying at this beautiful house. We took an Uber daily to where we needed to go.

Villa Giulia

We had a fantastic 7 night stay at Villa Giulia and cannot recommend it enough. The villa is exactly as it appears in the photos, with an excellent sized pool and grounds. The owners really could nt have done any more , basic essentials were available in the fridge, day to day consumables (toilet rolls etc) were available and there was even a freshly baked cake and fresh fruit - if all of that wasn’t enough then we were also collected and dropped off at the airport!!Cavtat is a short Uber ride away and costs around 12.50 each way - the marina is a delight with the excellent bars and restaurants. Dubrovnik is a 40 minute boat ride away and costs 20 euro per person (return) - this was a must see for us but was very hot, very busy but the history was amazing however we wouldn’t go back there. Cavtat has everything you need.My wife and I will be returning, which is all you should need to know - a wonderful 7 night stay and thank you to Marlous and Miho for making it extra special

I can’t recommend this place enough. Such a great location to Cavtat and the airport. The hosts were lovely and left a welcome pack and freshly baked cake. Everything you need is at the villa. Beautiful pool and garden with complete privacy. Very comfy beds with air conditioning in each room which you need in August. We hired a car for two weeks we wanted to explore but using uber is very easy and convenient. You can ferry from Cavtat to Dubrovnik but we used an uber for similar price. Overall an amazing holiday and we will be recommending to our family and friends,

Amazing holiday!

We had the pleasure of staying a week at Villa Giulia, at the end of July 2024. Our host, Marlous kindly offered to collect our group of 4 from the nearby airport- & her hospitality continued throughout the week. The transfer from the airport was surprisingly short & we were quickly introduced to a stunning 3 bedroom villa packed with all the comforts of a good home, set in a beautiful space with gardens and pool. This really is a luxury villa! Through the week we relied on a rental car which Marlous kindly facilitated for us. We found that we were very well sited to explore the harbour town at Cavtat,& Mlini - & to access water taxis to Dubrovnik. We were able to get out to explore this beautiful part of Croatia and combine this with lazy afternoons around the pool in the privacy & comfort of our own villa! A super holiday in a beautiful villa with a fantastic host- We couldn't ask for any more- We look forward to revisiting this place!

Wonderful stay we will be back

We loved the Villa , it’s well equipped with everything you need. fluffy white towels, pool towels & toiletries The pool was lovely even though not heated it was warm . we made good use of it . The Villa is Not too far from Airport so jump a taxi or an Uber . Uber’s are brilliant never waited more than 5 minutes for one . We went to Stone mill Restaurant next door to Villa . That was a very interesting afternoon make sure you book .Food & entertainment was great . The village has a nice pizza place & 2 supermarkets. 15minutes walk . We Highly recommend The Panorama Restaurant in Dubrovnik amazing food, service and views to die for . Again make sure you book . Special Thanks to Marlous the owner of the Villa .it was spotlessly clean & the cakes were amazing. We definitely will be back .

A wonderful stay with a wonderful host

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Giulia, and Marlous the owner was absolutely wonderful. She did so much for us, and really went out of her way on multiple occasions. Nothing was too much trouble. She totally made the holiday for us! The villa was extremely clean (very important for me) and the house and gardens were stunning. The pool was too cold to swim in for most of the family in April, but the weather was also slightly on the cool side for that time of year. We liked the quiet location (5 minutes drive from the airport but you wouldn't know it from the lack of plane noise) and found it easy to get Ubers everywhere. Cavtat is a beautiful village 10 minutes drive away, from where you can also get water taxis to Dubrovnik (takes longer than driving but a lovely way to do it) and Lokrum Island (really recommend this). Croatia is a fantastic place to visit with a young family, we can't wait to return.

Perfect Villa

Well, where to start. If you are looking for a perfect home from home plus, then Villa Giuilia is for you. The description really does not do it justice.From the initial booking until our departure the host Marious could not have been more helpful, all my (numerous) inquiries were answered promptly and satisfactorily. On Arrival at the villa my 15 month old grandson could not wait to get in the beautiful pool and play. He spent a lot of time in the pool and the lovely gardens that have a swing , a, slide and lovely fruit trees. The villa itself is so comfortable and has everything needed for a family holiday and not just the basics the facilities really are second to none . Marious kindly arranged basic foodstuffs for the fridge on our arrival including a freshly made cake which we all enjoyed . Should you need it there is satellite tv and a great music system that pipes music around the pool. We found Marious to be the perfect host as she was always available for queries if needed without being intrusive in any way. Though there were 5 Adults and an infant using the villa there was never a shortage of hot water. Also Mariouses husband Milos (i think) cleaned the pool regularly. Cavtat is just a short trip away and there are Uber cabs aplenty I highly recommend Villa Giuilia . We will be back for sure

"Marlous and Miho have achieved something very special with Villa Giulia"

Villa Giulia is a magnificent place to stay it has everthing you will need for a fantastic holiday, it is clean, well equipped, well stocked with enough good food to get started and has amazing outdoor areas including a large warm pool with jacuzzi area, dinning area and BBQ stone oven. Our family had a fantastic time with a very warm welcome from the owners Marlous & Miho who introduced us to the villa and information on the area of Konavle over drinks and Marlous home made cake. They both made our family feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble, they are on hand to offer any advice and help if required whilst giving privacy at all times, they are a fantastic couple and have achieved something amazing in Villa Giulia from the stonework, lighting and interior decor (not forgetting Marlous wonderful surprise cake one morning). A lot of love and hard work can be seen in all aspects of the Villa. A special thanks to them both. Cillipi is within walking distance and offers some local culture and restaurants, Cavtat is a short drive away and is a beautiful place to visit, regular boats travel to Dubrovnik from Cavtat and this is the best way to arrive and see Dubrovnik in our opinion. We would recommend a local meal by the river in Ljuta nearby serving authentic Croatian dishes cooked under the bell over coals (delicious). Sokol Grand is a small fortress nearby and is definitely worth a trip out, if you don’t mind heights it offers amazing views of the region. Croatia is a fantastic country with very friendly people, amazing local food and very good local wines. The next time we visit Croatia, Villa Giulia is on our list..... Thanyou Marlous and Miho..... Erg ruim, compleet huis met grote tuin en een geweldige service!

Wij waren aangenaam verrast bij aankomst van deze vakantiewoning. Niet alleen was alles super mooi, schoon en netjes, maar ook was aan werkelijk alles gedacht om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. De koelkast bleek gevuld met handige boodschappen (melk, kaas, ham en nog veel meer), er lag een vers brood op tafel, evenals een rijkelijk gevulde fruitschaal en zelfs een zelfgemaakte taart. Dan voel je je echt welkom! In de keukenkastjes waren kruiden, olie, azijn etc. aanwezig, evenals afwasbenodigdheden. Bij de wasmachine lag waspoeder, waardoor wij de vakantiewas konden wegwerken. Er was ook extra toiletpapier, douchegel etc, teveel om op te noemen. Het huis was ruim met een lichte moderne inrichting, 3 slaapkamers, twee badkamers een lekkere loungebank. Iedere slaapkamer had een aparte tv, evenals in de woonkamer. De wifi was prima (belangrijk met twee puberzoons).. Buiten waren diverse terrassen met zitmeubelen, een super mooi aangelegde tuin met schommel en glijbaan en een ruim verlicht zwembad. Hoewel het vakantiehuis in de buurt van een vliegveld staat, hebben wij niet heel veel last gehad van het vliegverkeer (we hoorden het wel, maar het was niet heel vaak en/of storend -ons verblijf was in mei). Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf en komen graag nog een keertje terug!

Stop searching! You've found the perfect place!

This property is absolutely fantastic, totally private and set in spectacular grounds, we called it the garden of Eden. The house came equipped with everything we could wish for. Everything is to the highest standards, sharp cooking knives, condements, silicone ice trays. The WiFi is great, there's a sound system you can Bluetooth connect for listening to music inside and out. Pool is fantastic. Traditional BBQ/ fire for keeping warm outside under the pergola in the evenings. The hosts are superb, they live next door but are totally unobtrusive and helped us with anything we needed. (They even leant us their ebikes to explore the surrounding area). Make sure you visit the local beaches, we swam in the sea most days at the end of October. The traditional restaurants towards the border are fantastic too. Marlous will point you in the right direction. We will definitely be back!

The perfect holiday home

We had a truly magical stay at Villa Giulia this summer. The house is gorgeous and has everything you need. The pool and outdoor areas are absolutely fantastic and everything is well maintained and spotlessly clean. Marlous and Miho are such thoughtful hosts - providing us with homegrown fresh food, sweets for the children and even two delicious homemade cakes during our stay! When we managed to tear ourselves away from the villa we ventured into nearby Cavtat (about 10 minutes by car) which has lovely beaches, swimming spots, shops and restaurants. We had a fantastic holiday here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in stunning surroundings.

We had fabulous stay with the grandchildren at this wonderful villa. The villa and grounds are everything you would wish for and a great place to stay and enjoy. The pool was just perfect and the children had so much fun. Marlous and Miho are super hosts indeed and nothing was too much trouble. We were treated to vegetables from the garden and wonderful delicious cake throughout the week. Having arrived early due to flight times Marlous took time out to drive us to the beach and later in the week for food supplies which was very much appreciated. You get the best of both worlds with the location being peaceful and quiet and the village just a short walk away .The lovely resort of Cavtat is only 7 minutes away and easily accessible by Uber or local taxi. A trip to Dubrovnik by boat from Cavtat is a real pleasure. We cannot recommend this Villa highly enough and hope we get the chance to revisit in the future.

Absolutely perfect

Can’t praise the property or the owners enough. This is by far the best holiday rental we’ve stayed in. I commented to the wonderful host Marlous ‘it’s home rental not a holiday let’ The location is very close to the airport but you’re away from the flight path so very little noise. Cavtat is 6km away and much noisier as it’s under the flight path. The property itself was built by the owners and they’ve put a lot of thought into making it as homely as possible. The interior with its high vaulted wooden ceilings, the bbq area, gardens with fruit trees and of course the pool area tick every box. It’s semi rural but the proximity to the airport means there’s an abundance of cheap Ubers so a car isn’t essential. This is the first time we haven’t hired a car and it turned out much cheaper. Marlous was the perfect hostess (baked 2 cakes for us during our stay) took my wife the supermarket to top up on groceries and took us the airport. Great personal touch! We’d spent 3 days in Dubrovnik beforehand so we wanted a week of relaxing which we did in spades, jumping an Uber (£7) into Cavtat a few evenings for a meal when we didn’t fancy another bbq. In short if you’re looking for a break in the sun, away from it all but not cut off from the real world 100% then this property and the hosts come highly recommended. Thank you for a great holiday.

We loved our stay at Villa Giulia. The house is beautiful and well-appointed, and the property is gorgeous! So many flowers, fruit, olive and fig trees, as well as butterflies. The owners and hosts are so lovely and helpful. I highly recommend this villa!

First class villa

The villa is clean, spacious and utterly charming. Marlous and Minho are the most friendly, attentive and generous of hosts. The location is five minutes from Cavtat, which is idyllic and has scenic walks and good restaurants. You can also access the water taxis to Debrovnik. We last stayed at this villa in 2019 and rebooked for 2020 but had to cancel due to the Pandemic. We’ve had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be visiting again in the future.

In 2007, immediately after I got married to my husband Miho I moved from Amsterdam to Čilipi. For the last 9 years we are happily living together with our 3 children in our family house lying next to Villa Giulia. Tourism industry is not new to me, for a several years I’ve been working as a representative and host for a few travel agencies in Dubrovnik area.

When I moved to Konavle region I immediately fell in love with it’s natural beauty and friendly people. Peace and serenity. It’s a great place to live and a wonderful place to visit. Sea is close by, beautiful nature with a lot of possibilities to enjoy all different kinds of pastime are literally on your doorstep. And yet, Dubrovnik is only 20 minutes drive away, a great combination.

This Villa is special to us because we built it ourselves and put a lot of love and hard work into it and we hope the villa can offer you a wonderful holiday.

What makes this property unique

A local stone characteristic for Konavle region is used to built Villa Giulia and it’s terraces. On it’s grounds you will find selection of fruit trees, children’s playground and a large swimming pool. The romantic nightlight at this pristine villa will make your evenings under the sky full of stars unforgettable.
