Welcome to Creekside Hideaway II!

Creekside Hideaway II is a lovely mountain cabin situated on a large, private wooded lot with a gorgeous, tumbling creek that runs through the back of the property. The level yard offers an open play area for kids of all ages. The playground includes a playhouse with a slide, a seesaw, swings, tetherball, and BEST of all, a Tube Slide off the deck that takes you to the playground! The campfire is just over the wood bridge in the backyard. Enjoy a meal at the picnic table next to the creek, relax on the wrap-around rocking chair porch listening to the soothing sounds of the creek, or take a dip in the hot tub that overlooks the creek!
Inside, the home welcomes you with an open floor plan. As you enter, you are greeted with a splendid view of the knotty pine wood staircase and tasteful lodge decor. A spacious living room with cathedral ceilings, a fireplace, a recliner, and a large flat-screen TV. The dining room features beautiful knotty pine wide-plank wood floors and a dining table large enough for eight. Fully equipped kitchen to make a feast or just a cup of coffee. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen-size bed, and a bathroom between the two bedrooms. The huge master bedroom is located upstairs with an attached master bath. The master bedroom has its own private balcony that overlooks the creek. Down the hallway from the Master bedroom is the loft with 2 log bunk beds, great for the kids!

This spacious home offers the ultimate mountain experience while having all the modern conveniences and comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, extra loft space for 4 additional guests, HD digital cable, flat-screen TVs, Smart TVs, Roku, Free WiFi, and unlimited free local and long-distance phone calls.

Very peaceful and private for being so close to town. Grandkids loved playing in the creek. The rest of us enjoyed listening to the tranquility of the creek at night. Would definitely recommend.

Overall, this was a mostly positive experience. The location was perfect with our two kiddos, and we loved the playground and creek out back. The location was perfect to use as a home base for Waynesville and Maggie Valley, and the host provided a wealth of information and resources related to local attractions/things to do. However, the cleanliness of the property left a bit to be desired. The kitchen had a terrible odor, and there were a lot of gnats and ants in it (we had to keep food in a closed plastic tub or the fridge, fruit and snacks couldn’t be left out because of ants). Also, the sheets on two of the three beds had a terrible smell—one set of bedding had to be washed entirely before it could be slept in and we just made do with the other. I’m not sure if the sheets weren’t laundered between guests or if the all natural detergent in the rental just wasn’t up to the task. Either way, they weren’t super pleasant to sleep in. That said, the beds were comfy, and I thought the host was overall great—they might just need to have a word with their cleaning crew.

The hot tub was perfect. It was cleaned before our arrival and as soon as we turned on the jets, the hot water heated up the entire tub immediately. The creek was lovely and was a nice background sound for sleeping. The cabin had everything we needed and our host was great with communication.

Very beautiful and the playground and creek was a perfect touch for our combined 5 kids! We enjoyed exploring and building little snowmen and throwing snowballs at each other! Very close to shops and good drives to fun hikes, trails and waterfalls! We even saw three elk down the street! Will definitely be back!!

We loved our time at Creekside Hideaway II, it was the perfect set up for us and our 3 children (11, 9, and 2). When we usually visit an area like Maggie Valley, I feel like I need to find fun things to do nearby to fill up the days - but that pressure was relieved this past weekend because the cabin was so nice. We spent much more time at the cabin than we have on past trips, and spent most of our time playing in the stream or on the playground equipment, and enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Our kids have already made us promise that we’ll try to return to the Creekside Hideaway II sometime soon, and it’s great to know that we can book with such a friendly and responsive host. We’re looking forward to next time!

What a great cozy cabin! My family had a wonderful experience! Property manager was quick to assist one small issue that we had plenty of room for sleeping, the cabin was clean, with a fully stocked kitchen. The kids loved the playground outside and their adults all love the hot tub. The creek running through the back was very peaceful in the fire pit was perfect. We absolutely had a great time while visiting Maggie Valley. Would definitely rent again.

The cabin was homey with a gas fireplace, 2 great king sized beds, bunk beds and plenty of fun things for young kids to do in the yard. The hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived. I fell in love with this property because of the tranquil soothing sounds of the creek and I love to sit on the wrap-around rocking chair porch that spans three sides of the home. Inside, the home is so warming and inviting, tastefully decorated with lodge-style decor.

Creekside Hideaway II is located just a minute off of Soco Rd in the heart of Maggie Valley, in a quiet area and within walking distance of Maggie Valley's main sidewalk! Another great benefit of this home is it is located on a flat lot, which makes it perfect for everyone. You can bring a trailer, park several cars and/or motorcycles in the long wide flat driveway (~160' long). We feature a trailer turnaround! Along the driveway is a beautifully landscaped yard... another nice spot for kids to run around!
