Wonderful Home on Squam - Can't wait to Return
We had an Amazing Stay at this very special home on Squam Lake.
It was a winter trip, and it was a real treat relaxing by the wood fireplace every evening.
We traveled with another family, an there was plenty of space for everyone.
We look forward to staying here again, and to enjoying a summer visit.

Hi Brain,
We are so happy to hear you enjoyed our home as much as we do. It is a special place.
Please come back again.
All the best,
Ashley
We've stayed in rental properties throughout the country. This one checks all the boxes...the lake is outstanding with all the islands and small coves and the location is great for really enjoying the New Hampshire experience...wonderful hiking in all directions. And the property is quite isolated and quiet. This property is superior and our stay was excellent.

Thank you for your kind review. We enjoyed hosting and hope you stay with us again soon.
My husband and I had a lovely stay at Loon Watch. It is a beautiful home on an amazing property. Squam Lake is a special place. The photos do not do it justice. Our stay was seamless, from the cozy fireplace to the well-equipped kitchen.....5 stars for sure!
This property was perfect for our end of summer family getaway. The lake and mountain views were a treat to wake up to. The loons were very vocal during our stay and we loved sitting out on the very spacious dock listening to them in the evenings. There is a small sandy beach on the property which was perfect for our young children. The quiet dirt road was great for walks and runs. Highly recommend Loon Watch!
This was a repeat lengthy stay for me and my family - it is simply one of the loveliest places I’ve ever been. The house is gorgeous and has everything you need to be comfortable. Ashley and Tristan are both quick to respond to questions /requests. Many thanks to this family for sharing their stunning retreat. We hope to be back!

I rented the property for a few friends and I to have a weekend getaway. It was absolutely amazing. The house it right on the lake with great views. The house itself was clean and spacious with all the cooking tools you might need. Everyone loved it and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you Ashley for sharing this wonderful home with us.

We love having you and your family Fred. Hosting you is our pleasure.
Our family has been spending two weeks every year at Squam. This is our second stay at Loon Watch and each family member requested that I get our reservation in early to stay again for the summer of 2020.
It’s a beautiful home, well cared for, great location, quiet and peaceful. We wish that our stay could be the entire summer. Boating, skiing, tubing, kayaking, some fishing, relaxing each morning on the dock, hiking, everything our family enjoys is available. The list of activities could go on.
Our two grandchildren enjoyed the private ‘beach’ for play and floating. The oldest grandson had his first experience tubing. Working to indoctrinate them to lake life.
Our stay was wonderful.

We are so happy to hear your stay at Loon Watch was amazing. We loved having you back! The house was made so families could enjoy each other and the lake equally, and it sounds like your family did!
We look forward to hosting you again.
Thank you 😊
This property accommodated 6 adults, and a family pet, very well. The weather for the week wasn't the best, but the house and property provided enough space and amenities for us. It was quiet, and we all were very comfortable.
This was my second stay at Loon Watch with extended family. It's hard to overstate the beauty and tranquility of the house and spot on the lake. Lovely days swimming, hiking, reading, and lots of evenings sitting on the dock. Ashley is easy to communicate with and everything with the house was fantastic. We hope to return!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Loon Watch. The home was gorgeous and had equally lovely views of the lake. Loon Watch was spacious, warm, and tastefully decorated. We are already planning our next trip back!
Loon watch was such a beautiful forested property with so much charm and history behind it. Despite the fact that its been in the family for many generations the home is well appointed with all the amenities that make for a comfortable and convenient stay. Loved the scenic location on Squam Lake away from the main roads so it made for a peaceful and quiet retreat for the whole family. Built so many good memories for us we would definitely do it again one day. Thank you Ashley for the hospitality and making it available for us.
We had a wonderful time at Loon Watch. Well appointed, comfortable with amazing views of pristine Squam Lake. Looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for your hospitality!

Thank you for staying with us. We look forward to hosting you next year!
We loved this home on Squam Lake.
Just breathtaking views of the lake from this lovely house. This home has been loved by this family over many generations and it was delightful to read about its history. Thank you for sharing this most special place.
I was fortunate to stay at Loon Watch with my extended family for several weeks in August. We had the most wonderful time at this magical spot. The views are breathtaking and it's a perfect spot at the lake for swimming, kayaking and sailing. Stores and markets are close by (much closer than if you were staying on the Holderness side)The kitchen is extremely well-stocked for avid cooks, we were able to work remotely using a wi-fi extender, and the owners and property manager are lovely to interact with. Thanks to this family for sharing their gem with us! We hope to be able to return.

We hope you can stay with us again.
This was our third time at Loon Watch. It is truly a magical place. This was our first time in warmer weather, and it was wonderful to be able to take full advantage of Squam every day - swimming, boating, and taking in the amazing views from the dock. This is the perfect Squam getaway.
