Bear Bungalow is a cozy little getaway that welcomes you and your furry companion. This charming cabin is located on Buskey Bay just south of Iron River, WI in Northern Wisconsin. Here you can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming or just relaxing. Bear Bungalow is a TINY House extraordinaire that was crafted with your comfortable stay in mind. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, a Smart TV, a King-size bed, and a full bathroom.
Enjoy the amenities at the Spot like the common area has a Fire Pit area, charcoal grill, large pier, yard games and by the lake you have use of a couple of Paddle Boards and a person kayak. Plus, your pet will love the neighborhood for walks or one of the pet-friendly hikes in the area.
Come enjoy winter activities at the Spot Resort: Ice Skating, Cross Country Skiing, Snowmobiling, and Ice fishing. Gear and equipment for these winter sports are not included with your stay, bring your gear of choice and enjoy! Please adhere to parking rules for snowmobiles on the property. Do not park on any landscaped areas or pathways, including those leading up to or in front of cabins. Parking is allowed on the lake and in the parking lot which has plenty of room for even the largest utility trailers located at the front of the resort. The rate is based on 2 people and is the maximum number of guests allowed, this includes Adults and Children.
Towels are not provided, please bring bath, swimming and kitchen towels.
There is a light blanket on the bed with fresh linens and pillows. If you prefer a heavier blanket, please bring one along with you.
Pets are allowed. $25 per pet per night maximum of 2 pets. Pet fees may not be included in your VRBO booking rate. See our pet policy in Terms and Conditions. Non declared pets are subject to a $300 each charge.
There is a cart or sled (depending on the season) available to make it easier to haul luggage and cooler(s) to cabin.

Small But Nice

This property was well maintained, clean and adorable. It is small, but I was expecting that so it was not a surprise. The Shower was actually surprisingly big and easy to use! Very good communication with the hosts and everything went very smoothly. Easy access to the pier with some paddle boards and kayaks to use. If I might offer 2 suggestions:1) Maybe have a second cart available for renters who are taking stuff down from their cars to their cabins? Most people seem to arrive and depart around the same time and if there is only one cart, you end up having to wait a little or make multiple trips2) The black stones in the lots and on the path are very sharp. Our dogs did not like this and our one dogs actually cut his paw. It wasn’t bad and didn’t need any special treatment other than cleaning it, but we ending up having to carry him past the stones. These stones would also be very sharp on kids feet if they were to want to run to the pier in bare feet. You might want to consider putting some sort of mats down or maybe creating an alternate flat stone or concrete path to and from the cabins.These are just 2 minor suggestions that you might want to consider to make everyone’s stay more enjoyable. Overall, we truly loved our stay and would highly recommend!!
