About this property
Indigo Nature Retreat | Newberry Creek
Set adjacent to the beautiful Pisgah National Forest. Dense foliage, rolling currents of Newberry Creek provide the perfect place to relax. The house sits on it's own acreage w/ 5 tiny cabins to the right.
The main lodge is well appointed with natural details throughout. 1 master bedroom, 2 full baths, w/ available sleeping cot for additional bedding.
An open living room with a grand fireplace, porch and outdoor space provide for a great gathering space. These spaces are private.
The space
Many hiking and biking trails extend from the property. Great fishing on Newberry and Curtis Creeks. Learn more --> indigoretreat d-0-t-c-0-m
Guest access
Guests have access to common grounds including bridge spanning Newberry Creek, community kitchen and all of the hiking/biking trails that surround Indigo. The community barn features 2 full baths, indoor dining area, a community kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Cookware and utensils are supplied.
Other things to note
The weather in the mountains is always subject to change so be sure to bring clothing appropriate for the season. Layering clothing is great for hiking and packing rain gear during Spring and Fall a good idea.
The facility has satellite internet. The service works well for texting, emails and general web searches of places to go, hiking trails etc.. The service does not work for streaming videos, Zoom conference calls or large data downloads. We do not recommend trying to work as you normally would out of your own home as the service may not support your needs. Please download music, movies etc., prior to your visit so you can enjoy them during your stay.
