I loved Rivoli Jardin, I found the staff super helpful and it had a personal touch. We arrived on the overnight train from Rovaniemi and appreciated being able to check in early. The position was also very convenient, close to the harbour and many restaurants, as well as trams.

Perfect Affordable Hotel & FREE Amazing Breakfast

I was surprised at how lovely this hotel room was for such an affordable price. I was traveling with my 8 year old child so we had a room with two twin beds. Cute and Nordic modern style and beds were comfortable. When we first arrived, directly from the airport, the staff was friendly and welcoming. After we settled in, we came back to the lobby/dining area which has a small bar and dining area (used for the breakfast buffet). We had this space to ourselves and the Front Desk Clerk served us wine and hot chocolate (our reservation included a $$ off coupon for 2 beverages). So nice after a 10+ hour flight to have a drink in a quiet space steps from the elevator. Breakfast was a wonderful introduction to local foods and much better than standard "free breakfast" at many US hotels. besides standard hot foods and waffle iron, there were salmon and herring options, fresh veggies and fruit, pastries, traditional Finnish dishes, and bakery style artisan and brown breads. You could eat tons and still feel healthy! Definitely would stay again.
