Beautiful friendly Property

The property was a beautiful place to stay. Very clean and tidy. Mary was so nice and really looked after us. We were even given torches if we wanted to go out at night. A lovely breakfast and you could have as much as you want. I would recommend anyone to stay in this beautiful part of the world and this lovely place.

Most welcoming and best B&B we’ve experience

Orchard House is a charming property and wonderfully presented by Mary. It is very welcoming with quality furniture and comfortable rooms. Located in the small village of Hebden, Orchard House is situated a few minutes walk from The Clarendon, a lovely country pub offering really good food. We stayed Friday to Sunday, parking the car on the Friday and not moving it until we checked out on the Sunday. On Saturday, we took the lovely riverside walk to Grassington, where we spent a few hours at the Forties weekend. Then we walked up the hill out of Grassington to observe the wonderful views and then ventured down Hebdon Gill and back to Orchard House to put our feet up before strolling back along to The Clarendon. What a relaxing weekend we experienced. Thank you Mary for your kind hospitality.

Perfect for walking in the Yorkshire Dales

A perfect base from which walk the Dales Way path along the river Wharfe. Very nice host. Lots of local information available. Lovely hot bath. Impeccably clean! Good solid breakfast.

A perfect few days in Hebden

I wanted to do some medium length walks in the Yorkshire Dales and this proved a great base. Surrounded by gorgeous countryside.

Cozy home away from home

Very comfortable bed. Generous bathroom. The cooked breakfast was nice, however when travelling a lot in the UK it would be good to have some variety offered in the cooked breakfast (maybe an omelette instead of the standard bacon, egg, sausage, tomato). Host was very sweet and helpful.

Easy to find, easy to enjoy - hard to leave!

Exceptionally clean and welcoming; private parking right next to the house; everything you could reasonably want for breakfast; great selection of teas etc in the room. Not more than 5 minute walk to excellent pub. In easy reach of Grassington, Skipton, Bolton Abbey etc and all the wonderful countryside around. Our stay topped off with beautiful weather - but unfortunately this can't be guaranteed!
