We had a lovely time at this guesthouse. The hosts were very friendly, engaging and welcoming. We were hoping for a different suite which we thought we had reserved on the website but unsure how they reserve their individual rooms

A stunning hidden gem - felt like royalty in the most private and beautiful of palaces! Was welcomed by Peter and his big smile and an arm to link with his and he walked me in under his umbrella. Stunned by the beautiful property - no expense soared and every artefact, from the lampshades to the artwork on the walls, makes you feel like you’ve really stumbled on something special. Peter and Bradley could not have been more welcoming and helpful with regards to what to do in the area. Our room, the garden suite, looked like something out of a Home and Garden magazine - luxe Cavalli like interiors in a real lush garden of Eden! And then breakfast! Staff full of smiles and served up a stunning fruit and granola plate before booked breakfast. Peter and Bradley held on to your luggage after check out while we did our cycle tour round the vineyards and were more than happy to do so. So obliging, so warm, and the place simply stunning. Do not hesitate to book!

Arrived early Peter greeted us and created a private wine tour for us within minutes. We had a great day driving around and sampling small wineries. We enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend 21 La Roux. Hope to return in the near future.

Beautiful oasis of a property. So delightful to meet Peter and enjoy the aesthetic they've crafted themselves, from the design of the house and gardens to the art gallery and impeccable food and service. It was a relaxed atmosphere where we wish we had been able to spend several days more -- and especially in summer weather to enjoy the pool. Heartily recommended.

The hospitality and warmth flowing from the owners, Peter and Bradley is remarkable. The whole experience sets new standards on every level. JJ their driver is professional and precise and offers great vineyard tours from the comfort of his mercedes. As a frequent traveller I can safely say that this property cannot be beaten.

We had an amazing weekend. Franschoek remains my favourite town in all of Western Cape. 21 Roux Street was an absolute amazing experience with lots of attention to detail! Fabulous breakfast as well. We can highly recommend and will certainly be back soon...

Beautiful B&B with great scenic views of the mountains and lush gardens and greenery. The staff was very welcoming and made you feel at home. They provided great recommendations for Franschhoek and even made restaurant reservations for us. The homemade breakfast was wonderful. We loved the location of the property for being close to the wine estates that we visited. Not one complaint!
