The pension is closed and we need to get our money back but we tried a lot to log in expedia to cancel and we cant make it.

A close place

This is not a deluxe hotel by a long shot. The Ancestors Pension House is a nice place to stay at without much frills. The Hotel is well maintained and the staff is very accommodating. Breakfast is available and is satisfying. The room is large enough for two but the bathroom was a bit small. The few issues we had were minor. There is no hot water at the bathroom sink and the faucet was loose. It was fixed during our stay with out our requesting for it. And house keeping failed to clean our room one day. Toilet tissue rolls were small and ran out quickly. we needed to request more often and supplied some our selves. Like i said very minor. The biggest complaint was the bed. It was to firm for me. I am a large man and needed a softer bed. The bed is of the memory foam type. Over all I was pleased with the hotel and the staff. I would stay again if my preferred hotel was not available. The good part was the close proximity to all the places I wanted to be.

Convenience of hotel location

The hotel is so considered very near to the Mactan international airport. Cost u about 110peso by taxi to get there. There are shopping malls, church within walking distance of the hotel, the surrounding around the hotel make u feel safe and secure..

Never again

I have never been in such a dirty place, it was awful, I never took my shoes of in the room. The service was okay. But we booked a room for 4 Persons and just got three beds. When we asked for another bed, they wanted extra charge. And the hotel was already very expensive (probably because of the Sinulog festival in Cebu city). It was the most expensive and at the same time the worst hotel I have ever been in the whole Philippines (and I traveled a lot here).
