The hotel was hot and the room was not like the pictures from the Hotels.com website. We came in very late and had to wait for the person at the desk to finish their cigarette outside before we could start the process of checking in.

Lack of any sort of ventilation makes even a nice room turn into an oven on hot July nights. Opening window for a breeze does not help and there is no fan in the room. Shower had no water pressure.

Bonjour, Nous avons trouvé l'état dans la salle pas en tres bon état. Les chauffages électrique qui ne chauffais pas tres bien. L'ambiance de notre chambre assez froide pour la saison. Dans les couloirs la moquette habimé. L'accueil et le personnel tres souriant et accueillant.

Bien, bien placé mais mal insonorisé…

Très bien placé. Agencement correct mais malheureusement très mal insonorisé. Nous entendions énormément les voisins. Appartement propre et fonctionnel mis à part la salle de bain où les joins étaient très sales et la douche manquait cruellement de pression. Personnel sympathique. Globalement plutôt un bon plan mais il faut prévoir les bouchons d’oreilles !

Premier séjour aux Citadines Bastille gare de Lyon

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Studio propre, confortable, bien agencé avec de grands rangements, Et bravo pour l'accueil, tout le personnel est particulièrement souriant, efficace et même bienveillant. Quel plaisir !

Résidence hôtelière bien située proche de la gare de Lyon et des lignes 1 et 8 du métro. Etat de propreté très insuffisant à notre arrivée (surtout la salle de bain) et pas de matériel de nettoyage. Si vous choisissez cet hôtel, prévoyez quelques lingettes Pas de chauffage et eau chaude pendant une journée.

Nice stay

It was located centrally so we could take metro when we wanted to, multiple restaurants & markets near by . Staff were nice specially Cecil she very helpful.The problem is the TV is programmed in French only so we could watch anything except news.

Location is terrific! Disappointed in the hotel overall - some of front desk staff have attitude problems, older kitchen, bathroom and room; toilet separate from bathroom and directly next to kitchen; no heater in toilet and kitchen;;bathtub is high and dangerous to step in and out of and lacked a shower curtain or a full closing glass door; low water pressure for showering; lack of towels/wash cloth; must return used towel for a fresh one and no daily housekeeping service! You will be charged an additional €25-35 if you request additional @essentials” and housekeeping service. Kitchen is outdated with minimum utensils; no welcoming atmosphere in rooms; little heat; no AC for summer months just a small table top fan provided ; thin walls and can hear neighbors; bed is very hard with poking coils and uncomfortable and has a plastic mattress cover making it extremely difficult to sleep; bed is super hard in your b;lack of any English channels on TV; no smart TV so therefore you cannot access Netflix; Prime, Hulu or Youtube WiFi works ok when it doesn’t drop. Only bare bone minimums in everything! A non-refundable payment was due at the time of booking - I would have left to find another place if I could get my money back. The photos on the websites are very deceiving. This place really could use an overhaul. The only good thing about this place is the location and it is close to the Gare DeLyon, Metro stops and buses; lots of restaurants are all within walking distance.

The room is spacious and functional but very ethical friendly (minimum supply) so you need to bring your toothbrush, Kleenex, slippers and so on. And you need to read QR code for the room equipments. Kitchen wares are practical but I wish I had slightly larger wine glasses. Water pressure at bathroom was relatively low.
