Booked a 2 bedroom apartment for one night. I phoned ahead to ensure that one of the double beds were able to be split and ensured that would be the case. Arrived to a double bed that has no ability to be split and an ancient looking trundle bed wheeled into the lounge with a mattress as hard as rock! Not one of our group wanted to be the one to sleep on that and for the high price for the one night I felt it was an unfair ask them too, however after I complained to reception the lovely staff quickly brought up another mattress for us. The apartment was massive! very spacious, loved that the master room was very private with its own ensuite, however the room is very dated and grotty feeling. Even found an empty KFC packet left in the cupboard, gross!. The kitchen not very well equipped, wine glasses were more like sherry glasses. The beds were comfortable and great sky channel options. Unfortunately it was very noisy at night, only 7 floors up so lots of disturbing street noise. The main bathroom shower was appalling, a very old fashioned shower head and no pressure, water just dribbled out. This hotel has a great location and large spacious apartments but for the price I think they need to really up their game.

Poor check in experience due to no car parks

No parking provided which was very poor and we won't stay here again because of this, it made the whole check in experience very bad, we had not been told this by the hotel before arrival. Fine if you don't have a car.

Very disappointed in condition of hotel, old, tired, rundown. Cafe coffee was undrinkable, food passable. Suite had broken tiles, dirty grout, dirty carpet, doors to balconies would not open. Worst was dirty dishes in the cupboard. Clean, crisp sheets though. Would not stay there again.

Great location to restaurants and downtown auckland and shopping. Disappointing service with no sheets for sofa bed provided for kids until I followed up twice. Sofa bed was really creaky and uncomfortable. Great space for a family though with seperate bedroom and kitchen. Awesome pool area. No Sky TV and average wifi made it hard for kids.

Tired

Get details on how to get into the place, roadworks and if you are unfamiliar with where it is can take a while to work out how to get into the place. Take your ear plugs unless your an early riser as the construction will wake you up early. Check the pool if you are able to use it. The views were amazing and enjoyed watching the boats coming and going.
