Perfect holiday

I don’t really leave reviews but I wanted to leave one to thank Kostas for his exceptional hospitality during our stay. We were in one of the bungalows and it was a great size with all we needed for our 10 days. The view is spectacular and we loved the location. Remote and peaceful with the most incredible beaches nearby but an easy drive to nice restaurants and supermarkets when we needed them. Perfect. Kostas’ hospitality is what really made the trip so great. He lent us bikes, showed us around his beautiful olive grove, gave us great tips for things to do and see, and most amazingly, went massively out of his way to come and collect us from the side of a mountain when we ran out of water during a hike on a very hot afternoon. Truly above and beyond! I highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Crete. Our stay was during the summer and the bungalow was ideal (fab air con) but I think it would also be great during the cooler months and there is a great fireplace and I am sure it would be very cosy. We plan to return.

This is a fantastic place for those who want to get away from the bustle of tourist resorts . Costas the owner is really helpful and will advise you where to eat, beaches to visit and gorges to walk. A great deal of thought has gone into the accommodation providing everything you need without irrelevant luxury.

Besser geht es nicht

Sehr gut ausgestattete Unterkunft. Besser als wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Die Küche ist wunderbar geeignet um auch mal selber zu Kochen. Was wir vorher nicht wussten, das sogar eine Waschmaschine vorhanden ist, was uns positiv überrascht hat. In jedem Zimmer gibt es eine Klimaanlage, so das es auch mal möglich ist am Abend die Räume ein wenig abzukühlen. Für jeden Geschmack war ein Strand in der nähe. Es wird zwar ein Auto benötigt, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Die Gastgeber sind sehr Kinderfreundlich und kümmern sich mit Leib und Seele um Ihre Gäste.

Excellent !

Très joli et calme petit lotissement, suffisamment éloigné du village pour être calme et assez proche pour aller flâner sur le port, les plages, les magasins (ouverts jusqu'à plus de minuit). Vue imprénable sur les montagnes, les oliviers et la mer turquoise. Petites criques peu peuplées, même en août, pour se baigner sur des plages propres. Kostas, le propriétaire est adorable, discret et chaleureux. La maison est impeccable et possède l'essentiel pour une arrivée tardive : confitures maison, miel, cafés en tous genres, Raki,... Un vrai bonheur pour des vacances en couple ou en famille, il y en a pour tous les goûts : balades dans les gorges, repos sur la terrasse ombragée, villages typiques alentours et vente de fruits et légumes bio au bas de la route par de charmants vieillards. On reviendra !
