When your calendars are synced across multiple platforms, you can view all your reservations, high-demand dates, and local events across all your calendars. This can help you increase performance by presenting opportunities to adjust your rates and prevent double-booking.

Compatibility

We support iCal, a file format you can use to import and sync calendars across multiple platforms like Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and other booking site calendars.

You can also sync event-specific calendars from iCalShare. Go to www.icalshare.com and find the sports or holiday calendar you would like to add. Right-click on Subscribe to Calendar and copy the link address.

To import a calendar

Every property has its own reservation calendar, so select the one you want to affect. You can import up to five calendars. Events are kept up to date automatically.
  1. In your reservation calendar, click the Import/Export arrows icon
  2. Click Import Calendar
  3. Give the calendar a name
  4. Select a color to represent the calendar
  5. In that calendar, go to your Availability settings
  6. Go to the Sync Calendar section
  7. Click Export Calendar and copy the link provided
  8. In the address bar, paste the recently copied link and change webcal:// to http://
  9. Select whether the calendar will block availability
  10. Click Import Calendar to confirm the import process

To export your reservation calendar

You can only export your reservation calendar if your listing is live.
  1. In your reservation calendar, click the Import/Export arrows icon
  2. Click Export Calendar
  3. Copy the URL and follow the instructions on your external calendar in order to import
Note: Partners who are cross-listed on Airbnb will need to use the corresponding Airbnb Export Calendar feature on their Airbnb dashboard to obtain the calendar link for the export process.

To remove a calendar

  1. In your reservations calendar, click the Import/Export arrows icon
  2. Click the name of the calendar
  3. Click Remove and then confirm

Non-blocking events

When you import a calendar with non-blocking events, you’ll get a message saying "Calendars imported from this site will not block availability.” Non-blocking events are not shown to travelers, and those dates can be booked.

If you want to block off dates on non-blocking calendars (important for bookings made on other calendars), you’ll need to manually create reservations or block dates to make sure travelers cannot book those dates.

Exporting tentative reservations

If you include tentative reservations when you export (by leaving the box checked) your calendar, you will block those dates on the reservation calendar. If you have also set up an import from that calendar to your reservations calendar, you may experience issues with payments for those dates. You should only include tentative reservations when exporting to a private calendar, not to another booking site.
