Amazing location, smart apartment

Arrangements worked well, the owner was very helpful, and the apartment was well-equipped - and at least as good as described. The adjacent hotel and its garden was a great benefit. And the scenery and walks that are possible from the door are amazing.

Lovely flat in hotel grounds right next to Ullswater lake. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Perfect location with shop and pub a couple of minutes walk from hotel grounds although there are places to eat and drink on site. Great host, would definitely return ahain

Lovely apartment, everything you might need and more! Quiet,dark bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, space to eat, stunning scenery, easy reach of Penrith and some amazing places to visit, I could go on and on. We stayed during a family wedding at Inn on the lake, and the apartment is in the grounds, opposite the reception bar. The only thing I could say to bring it down slightly for some people would be the entrance steps, not a problem for us and were well lit and clear. Couldn't have asked for more. Simply beautiful.

Fabulous stay at UllswaterWe had family staying in the Hotel as we were all at a family wedding. We enjoyed our stay here which was value for Money when you look at the hotel prices, everything about our stay was perfect, we couldn’t fault anything and we were a family of 5 with a baby, so not the easiest to accommodate, we will be looking to stay again if we’re ever in the area.

Stoney Steps has been owned by my family for over 45 years. We love the place, the village of Glenridding and the Lake and Hills surrounding it. The apartment has been perfect for our family holidays

We are all keen walkers and enjoy watersports of sailing, canoeing and S.U.Ping. Ullswater is unrivalled in providing the perfect place for Action, Adventure and relaxing.

Being in the grounds of The Inn on the Lake means that you are perectly placed in the centre of the village with all it has to offer. The staff and management at the hotel are super friendly
