We love and enjoy Central Oregon and all it has to offer. We love the kind people, we love the various outdoor activities and we enjoy working on home improvement and decorating. The kids are super active with snowboarding, TKD, music and school sports. We have pets and love animals. Walking and hiking are favorite activities as well as cooling off and playing in the river. The more nature, the better. Please let us know if we can answer any questions about the house or the amazing Central Oregon. Enjoy!
Why they chose this property
Amazing location: Deschutes River: The river runs through the backyard! Clean, rafting, floating, kayaking, fishing, paddle board friendly water! A new water rafting/surfing/kayaking spot was completed last year in Bend Old Mill. Many lakes are also a short drive away. Walk to fun spots: The BITE, exercise trail, tumalo coffee house, farmers market, workout and yoga, bars and restaurants, shopping local spots! Tumalo: Tumalo, is in between two really different, and very fun towns -- Bend and Sisters. Both are highly sought after vacation locations and it's so fun to get to go 15 minutes in either direction for completely different but equally fun days/nights out! Tumalo is officially the unincorporated section of Bend, Or. Winter activities galore! We are nearly equally spaced between Mt Bachelor and Mt Hood - all the snow sports you could ever want within minutes. Some of the many activities include skiiing, snowboarding, snow showing, sled doggins, hiking, sledding, cross country, and more.
What makes this property unique
You really can't stay many places this close to the river. The city doesn't allow building this close any longer. We have a very special place that we want to share. The water is right there and accessible. Furthermore, town is walkable. Mountains are driveable. Two towns are super close that are both so unique, Bend and Sisters. It doesn't get better then this!
