Adorable house in the Black Hills perfect for a weekend getaway!

Welcome to the stunning Black Hills in the most hospitable community in the area, Piedmont, SD. We hope this is the beginning of a great adventure and/or vacation for you. Come and enjoy our newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bath quaint cottage with a fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining room, a relaxing front porch swing and a back deck to enjoy coffee or meals. We offer an over sized one car garage to park your car or toys :) . The front and back yards are fully fenced. Our little cozy cottage is located just off of I-90 between Rapid City and Sturgis, SD. The beautiful Piedmont park is just across the street and is great for kids and adults alike. We are within walking distance to the local bars and restaurants. ATV trails and the beautiful Black Hills National Forest are just up the hill. We DO have Wifi, local TV and a DVD player. Linens and towels are provided along with a washer and dryer. Children are welcome. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns and we hope you enjoy your stay!

Lovely Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at this little cozy cottage. The park across the street is incredible and a huge perk for anyone with young kids! We'd love to stay in this place again!

Just what we needed!

We stayed here as part of a longer trip. It was such a nice break from hotels. We caught up on laundry, relaxed on the porch swing, the kids loved the park, and we took in local sites. We would highly recommend this home! We wished we would have booked a longer stay!

Great location

Home was adequate for our purpose which was sightsee during the day and have a nice place to lay our heads at night. My only critique would be that the living room furniture is not very comfortable and more cable channels be available would be nice.

Very Nice. Right in the middle of everything!!

This was a really sweet, cozy house. The view from a the porch swing was really pretty. My daughter was delighted with the number of bug fluffy towels!! The location was perfect to get to Rapid and all of the northern towns.

Perfect little house!

We found the house to be just what we needed. The enclosed garage was ideal for our motorcycles. The house was fully stocked, including ibuprofen and coffee. We would definitely rent this home again!

Perfect House With Park Across the Street

We look for places that we can be self sufficient (cooking etc) and where we can have activities during our down time. This place was great. Nice little house with good sized fenced in yard for the kids to play in and a great park for them to play at. House is just a quick drive into town and access to the freeway is easy. I would stay again!

Perfect

This was a nice place to unwind in the evenings after exploring the Black Hills each day! We were able to store our bikes and go for rides after having dinner in the evenings, enjoy the deck and fenced in yard, and had great access to the fun little park out front.

Area was nice with the city park being right across the street. Plenty of parking in the road for big vehicles. Views of the hills from the front deck swing with your morning coffee was amazing. House was very nice and clean. Would stay there again if we get the chance.

Cute Home in Perfect Location

What a lovely home. It was clean, comfortable and the perfect size for our family. We loved the proximity to all the Rapid Coty had to offer. The yard was wonderful for evening dinner and the front porch swing was a nice place to have a morning cup of coffee. The park across the street was perfect for the kids. Wonderful home that we would recommend to anyone.

Good location

The property was conveniently located for Spearfish, Deadwood, Rapid City, and Devil’s Tower. Also groceries were minutes away. The only complaints are that the plastic plates were stained and the shower stall was dirty.

Little Chic Cottage was exactly the place we needed

From booking to check in to enjoying our stay in Piedmont, Sabrena and Spencer were amazing! Great communication throughout our trip, and when the grill stopped working during our stay, they replaced it. It has all the comforts of home in a simple way... which was much needed for us. We're looking into scheduling our trip back to The Black Hills next year! Hopefully for 2 weeks!

Great home base

We wanted a home base between Custer and the Badlands to decompress each day. This location was great for that. It was nice to get up and be able to fix breakfast each morning and come home and play cards and have a drink of the deck each evening. There was also a night when there were a lot of kids across the street at the playground and my kid enjoyed going over there to play. I would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Cute little house!

Cute little house for a great price! It is an older home with a lot of character that was very clean. There were plenty of towels, extra bedding and blankets. They also provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The property manager was great with communication and directions. The location was great being 15 minutes from Sturgis and Rapid City. I highly recommend staying here.

The house was perfectly located for what we were wanting to see. The house had everything we needed, was stocked with all of the essentials . All we had to do was go down the road to a close by grocery. The owners thought of everything! They were very approachable for any questions or concerns. Great house in cozy small town

Great little house! We loved out stay. The only problem was getting the kids to want to leave each day to go site-seeing. They loved the house and just wanted to stay "home", relax, and play in the great park across the street. The house was extremely clean, well looked after, comfortable, and well stocked. The decor was simple and in great taste. The VRBO pictures accurately depict the house with the exception that the house actually felt bigger. We enjoyed dinner on the back porch twice. It was so pleasant! We highly recommend this rental to others!

Cottage in the Black Hills

Our trip to Mt Rushmore and to the Buffalo Roundup was the best! The adventure began with finding this Cottage and booking it. The owner's Spencer and Sabrina could not have been more accommodating. They were always available when I emailed questions and made our stay so inviting. The Cottage was so clean had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beds were so comfortable. The shower was the best! We were only a few miles from all of the attractions. We were sad to leave. Hopefully we can visit the Black Hills again and stay in the Cottage. This house is the best!

Great Black Hills Location with 2BR

Mostly remodeled. Flooring / trim / doors in bedrooms and main room and bathroom fixtures older and in working condition. Flooring in bathroom and everything in kitchen new. Plenty of parking. Quiet location with park and library across street. Great quick access to I-90 to get to anywhere in the Black Hills easily. Did not contact owners with any issues and they provided 3 points of contact to address any concerns during stay.

Great location between Rapid City and Sturgis.

The house is in a little town between all the mountain rides. Nothing fancy just a nice little house. We had to couples and two single guys. With a extra blow up mattress we all fit great. Only two places to eat in town Elk Creek Steakhouse. We ate there twice and both times I was not happy. The other place was Slash J Saloon. We really liked this place. Family owned, Sarah is I believe is the owner's daughter was a great waitress. Food and drinks was good. The rides in the mountains are unbelievable. Would love to go back again.

Cute Bungalow in Small Town

My husband, 2-year-old son, mom, and myself were in Piedmont for a wedding. Having a toddler, hotels are not always the easiest way to go. This house was PERFECT for what we needed! My mom was able to have her own bedroom, my husband & I had the 2nd bedroom, and we were able to set up the Pack n' play in the laundry room area for my toddler! Also, the location was perfect for our little boy - he totally loved the park AND library that were both directly across the street! There's not a whole lot to do in the town of Piedmont itself but we had all we needed for our little family to stay occupied, entertained, and well-fed while at this cute little bungalow =)

Wonderful cottage

The Shabby chic cottage was perfect for our South Dakota stay. It’s in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and the location gave us easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. There was two couples and the cottage was just right for us. Sabrena was a fantastic host, she thought of everything to make us feel right at home, we were lacking for nothing. Communication was excellent! We enjoyed our visit so much we decided to stay an extra day and Sabrena made that process a breeze. We loved the evening and early morning visit from the deer and it was a nice walk to Slash J for an excellent dinner. We will definitely recommend this cozy cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay when visiting the area! Thanks for the hospitality!

My husband is from Piedmont and has always loved this area and what it has to offer. We wanted to create a place for families or individuals to come to relax and enjoy all parts of the Black Hills as we do. We love creating peaceful, clean and cozy places for people to unwind, enjoy each other and fill their cups in a hectic world.

Why they chose this property

We chose to purchase this house because it belonged to Spencer's aunt. We remodeled it ourselves and have allowed family to come and stay in it and enjoy the beautiful Black Hills. We would like to extend that opportunity to you as well.

What makes this property unique

This cozy cottage is located just off I-90 conveniently located between Rapid City and Sturgis, SD. The Piedmont Park is located across the street which is a beautiful park for kids and adults. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance (less than a block or two). ATV trails are just up the hill. The front porch is a great spot to just smell the roses!
