Located in the heart of Wild Dunes Resort and just steps from the Atlantic Ocean, this special oceanfront home is the perfect spot for an Isle of Palms vacation! This gem is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house situated directly on the popular Grand Pavilion boardwalk with direct pool and pavilion access. Imagine being able to look out your front windows and watching the kids play in the two oceanfront pools or walking down your steps to enjoy an evening cocktail by the ocean. It doesn't get better than this!

This home is a classic beach style that welcomes you with it's simple coastal design, neutral colors, and family-friendly living space. The living room has immaculate oceanfront views and expansive windows to let in the direct sunlight. There is plenty of space for everyone to gather around to converse or watch TV. Step out onto the back porch and relax on the outdoor furniture while taking in the breathtaking beach views. You can walk right off your back steps and be at the Grand Pavilion pools or ocean!

The dining and kitchen areas are right off the living room. There is seating available for 8 at the dining table, and the fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal!

The first bedroom (Bedroom #1), located on the main first level of the home, contains two queen size beds and full bathroom. (This bathroom does connect to the kitchen area for added guest convenience.)

There are two bedrooms on the second level of the home. One bedroom (Bedroom #2) features two queen size beds and a private bathroom while the other bedroom (Bedroom #3) has two double beds and a private bath.

The large master bedroom is on the top third floor of the home. This beautiful bedroom (Bedroom #4) contains a king size bed and private bathroom with dual vanities and separate soaking tub and standing shower. This room also has a private balcony with impressive beach views.

This house truly feels central to everything. The beach views are excellent, and when the weather is warmer, you can easily walk out to the pool for a swim. Even in winter, it was lovely to sit in the chairs and read while enjoying the view.Access to all resort amenities was easy. The kids especially loved the heated pool and hot tub, which were just a short walk away.The layout of the home worked very well. The primary suite on the top floor offered gorgeous ocean views along with plenty of space and privacy. All appliances functioned properly, the beds and linens were comfortable, and the furniture, while not new, was still comfortable.The property management team was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I understand that improvements are planned soon to address a broken window and blinds. I would also recommend carpet replacement and bathroom updates.Overall, it was a great stay, even in the cold months.

Wonderful get away

Our son and his girlfriend flew in from snowy, cold, Colorado to spend the week with us and our teenage daughter. This was the perfect place - plenty of room to spread out but also cozy. The location was great - so nice to be able to get drinks or food from the grill/bar, but also family friendly in terms of the hours (quiet when you wanted it to be, but fun and lively during the day). Great views from all levels, and the side decks were great for looking out over the ocean. Thanks so much for a great week!

Ideal location -- but not perfect!

This home in Wild Dune Resort is ideally located, but not entirely perfect -- both decks are in complete shade, so the only way to "get sun" is to actually head out to the pool deck or beach. We had several problems with the cleanliness of the property and most were addressed the day we filed our list of 10 complaints. Not a very good "sign" though for a very high-priced rental property.

Good location

The location of this unit by the pool makes it perfect for both pool and beach access; however, the resort closed the pool early EVERY night of our stay (4 nts) for private events, which was extremely disappointing and annoying. There are 2 pools so I would recommend alternating between the two for the events. Otherwise, the unit was fine and provided a comfortable stay. The suggestions our group of 7 have include the following: 1. replace porch furniture with more comfortable chairs or cushions at the least, 2. add a sign that states the thermostat for one of the 2nd floor bedrooms is behind the TV, 3. try to eliminate the musty odor on first level at entryway, and 4. if possible, improve cell service - some of us had to go outside to make a phone call.

132 Grand Pavilion Blvd

Prime location right on beach. The kitchen well organized. Those were the +. The negatives: the entrance was dark, dingy, dirty carpet and smelly. The bathrooms were gross. The tile grout in showers and floors was black grime mold and mildew. Shower curtains filthy. All area rugs were dirty! Then on the first night during rain the bedroom ceiling started leaking. Had to put trash can under leak to protect carpet. The rental agent did respond that night Saturday. No fix just rental agency man came Sunday morning and said “yes it’s a leak”. Someone will be out Monday to repair. No one came to repair the entire week. Worst part is that the owner & rental agency knew about the leaking for 3 weeks and didn’t do anything to repair. Don’t recommend staying here!!

No AC on Top 2 floors - 3 Bedrooms No AC for WEEK!

When we arrived at GP 132 - the entrance was dark and musty - no air circulation - would suggest removing carpet on entrance stairs and either replacing with some type of moisture resistant material/wood or indoor/outdoor carpet...needs a Keurig in the kitchen... Our AC stopped working on the 2nd and 3rd floors - 3 of the 4 bedrooms on Sunday night...property managers (Crystal, Mike and Tyler?) worked hard to repair - ended up being the compressor so no AC for the entire week...used fans and portable AC units - never cooled enough - Master BR stayed at 73 to 78 degrees - had to keep all doors shut, blinds closed and fans running...did not get to see our beach view any from the Master BR...we had 2 toddlers ages 4 and almost 5 plus an 11 month old - had to move him downstairs for his nap times...again, local property mgrs. were really good - not their fault nor ours but we suffered the consequences...spent 2 days working on trying to solve the problem so did not leave the premises...left the GP 132 clean and neat...asked for a partial refund and only got a small amount considering what we paid for the rental - again - no AC in 3 of 4 bedrooms from Sunday on (we checked in Saturday, June 22 and did not leave until June 29)...have used VRBO in the past and have been very pleased - not sure who I need to talk with about a better compensation for our trouble...Sweetwater has 80 units and am sure that they have insurance but for us, we were given minimal compensation...Kat

Great location

The condo is in a great location, beds and other furnishings are comfy, and we had everything we needed, but the stairs and the paint need to be freshened up and it needs a good overall cleaning. There was trash, food, and towels under beds and the sofa; food on a table upstairs, and some countertops had not been cleaned. Air vents are very dusty and upstairs smelled funky. First night there was loud poolside music until 12:30.

OK, but not top-notch

Our family of 5 adults stayed in this unit for a week in late August 2022. While the unit served our purpose for our stay, we were a bit disappointed in the condition of the house, as well as some of the appointments. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we have stayed in many, much nicer houses in the area at a more reasonable rate. Pros: the beds are comfortable, and the furniture in the living area is comfortable and accommodated our family of five. Cons: The house just needs some love. Furniture in the 1st floor bedroom was in disrepair, the kitchen is not well equipped (lacking a med/large skillet, baking sheets and cutting boards were disgusting, no decent knives, etc), the appliances are basic and old, out of three irons in the unit only one worked, all of the air intake vents were filthy and filters needed to be replaced, food and crumbs under all of the couch cushions, food on the kitchen floor under the cabinets, the glass tops on the furniture were not cleaned, we found several used bandaids, the tile in the master shower needs to be replaced (grout is grungy and coming apart), the master bathroom smells foul, carpets could use cleaning, the furniture on the balcony is old and splintered. The stairway leading from the parking area to the first floor smells disgusting and desperately needs ventilation. All this being said, the house is in a good location as long as you aren’t bothered by the sounds of kids playing in the pool. It really didn’t bother us. Overall, the house just didn’t live up to the standard we have come to expect for the price we paid. As far as the cleaning issues go, the last thing we want to do after a 6 hour drive is come into a unit and call the management company and have to wait for someone to come address cleaning issues. That is an imposition we are never interested enduring. We just expect for things to be clean when we arrive. Hope this review helps both the owners and future vacationers. Note: If you rent beach chairs and umbrellas, use the company that rents directly in front of Grand Pavillion. We used IOP rentals and had to walk a pretty good distance to our chairs. And IOP didn’t deliver our rental 2 out of 6 days. We had to call them and wait for someone to bring our chairs.

Fun week.

Beautiful location. Master shower needs some grout work update. Having the pool right outside our door was nice except when they closed it because of private parties. This happened 2 times the week we were there. My family loved spending the week there.

House was not very equipped in the kitchen. Ice machine did not work. Stove needs to be replaced or at least cleaned. PM didn’t tell us we could rent chairs right on the beach. Noisy with pool crowds.

Unit # 132 Grant Pavilion Blvd, IOP, SC

Accomadations were apprpriate for the # of guests we had - 4 adutls and 3 children. Kitchen was stocked OK. Suggest a handicap bar in the master bath on main floor. Based on the rate the following items should not have been encounted. 1) Kitchen stove heating elements did not fit properly - pots would not fit flat on the elements. 2) Clock in kit and LR needs batteries. 3) Entrance hall and stairway has a very foul musty smell. 4) Shower Liner in Bath in APT C was black with mold and torn. 5) Top floor patio door was difficult to open. 6) It was most irritating that the pool that our unit opened up to was closed multiple times during our stay for special events. Suggest that a notice be given to the guest each time a planned event will interfer with the pool time that is located near the unit. It should be something other than a sign that is not posted in plain site. Part of our vacation plan included pool time for the kids at 3PM and us watch them from the room. 7) The latch on the metal gate was rusty and sharp - cut o
