My wife and I have stayed in this cabin before. Its the perfect location to hike and have privacy. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away for a quiet weekend. I will say take the driveway seriously and bring a vehicle with a higher ground clearance.
overall it was ok , there were some things i was disappointed about but the app wouldn't let me contact the owner to address. Nice, quite place to stay overall.

We offer our contact info and any guest can message us on Vrbo messages - we're happy to help. We did not hear anything from Scott and wish he would've let us know whatever it was.
What a beautiful and lovely little cabin in the woods conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The Hosts were amazing at ensuring we had everything we needed to be comfortable for our long weekend. The Hosts were also quick to respond to all of our inquiries. 10 out of 10 would stay here again and we will recommend this location to our family and friends!

Thanks so much for visiting! We'd love to have you again. Wonderful guest!
Quite and private retreat from the world. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Only thing I could find negative for someone is the driveway is not suitable for a car but was fine for us since we had a truck.

Future Guests: please ensure you have AWD/4WD year round as there are small hills on the last stretch of private, gravel road. We state this in our listing as well so make sure you have the right vehicle.
Unless you got a four wheeler or a massive truck, don’t expect to drive up this road to get there. Absolute joke. Waste of my money. Should have an option to get a refund but I see now why they don’t.

This guest did not take into account what we have on our listing (and follow up reminders after booking): "NOTE: This cabin requires 4WD/AWD year round and definitely for winter. The final road leading to the cabin can get muddy and 2WD will be very difficult during snowy, icy or very wet conditions. Please plan accordingly and consider travel insurance."
Unfortunately this guest was not able to enjoy the cabin like our many other guests have. We will dispute this review as it is not accurate.

Just ok
As stated in a previous review, this property is just ok. There are little to no personal details/touches and it is basically 4 walls with cheap furnishings. From the outside it looks amazing with a new deck set and a nice hot tub (with a bear mauled cover from previous guests leaving trash outside drawing bears in) but the amazing stops outside. Inside there is college quality furniture and linens with no consideration for being user friendly. There are 4 pieces of furniture with nowhere to place bags or organize your things. In the bathroom there is a 12” x 12” mirror that is almost 6’ in the air (I’m 5’3 so I couldn’t even see the top of my head) and even my husband couldn’t even shave using this mirror. Above the kitchen table is a mirror so I set up there but then there’s no lighting in this cabin either. This property has such potential but feels lifeless and was disappointing after road tripping the SW states and seeing such southern charm in all our other VRBO’s. This setup is great for a bunch of men and they will also enjoy the neighborhood partying that goes on late into the evening as well. There is a cabin directly behind this cabin that had a large group playing loud music and stayed up until sometimes 4am… so this is not quiet or secluded if that’s what you are looking for. Also good luck getting up the completely unmaintained road that leads to this property even with 4 wheel drive.

We appreciate the stay. We want to say we're constantly looking to improve our properties. We have hosted many happy guests of all types and number from singles, couples to small families on all the main booking platforms. This review seems to be very opinionated on our furniture which we do not agree with. The road is gravel which is maintained year around although mountain weather does impact it. Also, we let all guests know to let us know if there is anything that may need attention - if there are noise issues also. To be clear, we have not had barely any noise complaints at this property nor did this guest mention anything during her stay. We're happy to answer any questions for future guests as this review does not match the type of reviews we get on all the booking platforms. Thank you
Was a perfect couples getaway! Much needed time in the mountains with the leaves starting to change colors and perfect views! The hot tub and fire place were icing on the cake! At first the fire place didn’t work (I think the previous guest put out the propane flame) and the owners were VERY quick to respond and have someone up there within the hour to fix it! The owners were very sweet which showed in the cabin! Will definitely be staying again!
As stated before the road is horrible , please use the path around the hill and life will be better on that road. The cabin was clean and perfect for a get away and not far from town. You can tell the have some some upgrades , it's nice . Plenty or towels were there
Very quiet and peaceful cabin. Just what we needed for a quick getaway.

Why they chose this property
We love this cabin and its sister cabin "Oh Deer" because we loved the versatility of having 2 cabins nearby each other for groups who want to travel together but have their own space. Lovely cabin close to Pigeon Forge and National Park entrance.
