Four bedroom single floor home 100 paces from the river/boardwalk and a 4 minute stroll down the boardwalk to all the action.
Large dining room plus breakfast nook. Bright, comfortable and airy; big rooms and a large, screened back porch, and a private, fenced back yard with gas grill and firepit. Fireplace (decorative, not in service.) Coffee bar.
Tech savvy smart home with electronic lock, security, linked smoke/CO detectors, motion detector (but no interior cameras or microphones, of course) cable tv, wifi, netflix, two flat screen TVs, blue-ray player. Kitchen stocked with the basics. Dishwasher.
Home has 3 bedrooms in the main house, and 2 baths, plus an additional large, private-entrance back bedroom accessible from the rear screened porch..
Washer and dryer. Quiet dead end street, driveway parking and on-street parking.
NOTE the home has a couple of temperature and motion sensors, but these are NOT cameras or microphones.

Weekend getaway

You can’t ask for a better location to be on the beach within a minute. Quiet neighborhood that is still close to everything.

Beautiful home with plenty of space for our family! The house was very clean, and organized! Had every amenity you could need! Just a quick block to the beach at the end of a quiet street! Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the quiet!

We came for the Riverfest weekend. The property is walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space. We loved the fenced in back porch. Highly recommend! We would love to come back and stay again!

First time to Colonial Beach!

We loved the uniqueness and location of the property. Plenty of room for the six of us. Relaxing down time in this odd year for traveling. Property was a short walk to the beach and we did plenty of walking around.

Great location, well stocked house

We stayed here for a long weekend with 6 adults and 1 kiddo, had plenty of space. Wifi was great, plenty of seating and dining space, lots of gadgets and supplies in the kitchen. This is definitely an older beach house but was very clea, the only reason I docked a star on cleanliness was for the bathrooms - they were clean but need some TLC on the tile work. Overall we had a great visit and would recommend!

The property is old (old-fashioned radiators) but comfortable. It is a one-minute walk to the water and another minute to the beginning of the better part of the beach. I would not recommend it for the handicapped: my wife uses a rollator, and it was difficult for her to manage the stairs.The host was responsive. The kitchen is well equipped and can comfortably accommodate one person at a time.

Great house at Colonial Beach

This is a very nice house located conveniently within a short walking distance to the beach. Each bedroom was spacious with comfortable beds, comfortable living and dining room, nice screened-in porch. Golf cart rentals were available to drive to the many good places to eat and to watch beautiful sunsets from different areas. We were able to enjoy relaxing time at the house and fun times at the beach. It is a short drive to Fredericksburg which also has a lot of nice shops and good places to eat, and a train station which we took in to Washington DC. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Location was wonderful. Bathrooms were awful. Back porch was nice but needed a good cleaning and needed paint. All blinds need to be replaced so could open and close them. Paint peeling around a lot of windows. A strong Smell hit you in face when we walked in door must be what they are cleaning with. Yard and garden’s needed to be manicured. With the above improvements we would definitely rent again.
