"Mittsommer" Holiday Home



This light-filled holiday home with a fireplace, accommodating up to 6 people plus a toddler, is situated in a beautiful, quiet location in Eilsum (about 3 km from Greetsiel), just a few steps away from its own dock and a rowing boat (shared with the immediate neighbour; use at your own risk and without guarantee from late April to early October, depending on the weather). From here, you can set out on lovely excursions (e.g., to Greetsiel). Anglers will also find plenty to enjoy here.



The house is very tastefully and fully furnished. On the ground floor is the spacious living/dining room (satellite TV and DVD player—some films available) with a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, including a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, electric kettle, egg cooker, blender, coffee pod machine, and radio. There is no microwave.



A washing machine and dryer are available free of charge.



The fireplace invites you to enjoy cosy evenings and quiet moments.



The 3 bedrooms include one double bed on the ground floor, one double bed on the upper floor, and two single beds on the upper floor (all beds measure 2 m x 0.90 m). The bedroom with the double bed on the upper floor has a second TV. Outlets are available in all bedrooms.



The windows in the bedrooms and in the lower bathroom are equipped with roller shutters and pleated blinds. The two shower rooms on the ground floor and upper floor are equipped with high-quality fixtures. In the ground-floor bathroom, underfloor heating keeps your feet warm.



A storage shed with an electrical socket is provided, as well as patio furniture, chairs and a table, a patio umbrella, and a grill.



An ironing board, iron, hair dryer, travel cot, high chair, children’s games, and books are also part of the high-quality amenities.

Pets are not allowed.



During the Easter and fall breaks, this property is rented for stays of five nights or more with no fixed check-out day.



The holiday home is located in the tranquil village of Eilsum, a small hamlet near Greetsiel in East Frisia. Surrounded by expansive meadows and fields, the location offers peace and relaxation in the midst of the idyllic East Frisian countryside. The picturesque harbour town of Greetsiel, with its twin windmills, cosy cafés, and restaurants, is just a few minutes’ drive away and is perfect for walks and excursions. The proximity to the North Sea and the East Frisian islands makes the region an ideal starting point for nature experiences and maritime excursions.
