Bear's Den Silver Star Resort

Property was exactly as advertised and exceeded expectations for location to ski hill, overall quality and design of property. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fantastic property and location on a great ski hill.

Kempton Family Ski Vacation 2023

Beautiful place. Lots of room and plenty of bathrooms for a big group. Our daughter and son-in-law took our young grandkids up the hill behind the house and skied down to the gondola no problem and back up the Comet chair to the house was easy. Great kitchen found everything that we needed, bathrooms had ample towels.

Beautiful mountain stay

This was a beautiful property and was definitely large enough to accommodate our large family. Appreciated the hot tub use in the summer. The only drawback was the amount of construction going on in the street and the time of day the construction started which was often before 7am. Not a long term thing though so recommend this property for a large group. The booking was easy and the level of communication and information provided was exceptional. Would book here again.

Perfect Family Ski Getaway

This well laid out and equipped home was the perfect accommodation for our annual family ski vacation. There was lot of room for our group of 9 adults. Ski in and out was easy, although ski out had a very short steep uphill hike. We made great use of the hot tub while enjoying the beautiful valley views. The living area was so bright and flooded with natural light. Plenty of bathrooms for our large group. We cooked all of our meals while staying and found the kitchen to be fairly well stocked. It could benefit from a few more larger pots and non stick pans, but we appreciated items like the slow cook crockpot. The house is a short drive (3 min) to the village centre. Communication with Lindsay and the SilverStar Stays team was quick and efficient. Skiing here was amazing and we will be back.

Beautiful home

Great home to stay in with family. Lots of space. Perfect ski in ski out . It had a water pressure issue … hard for washing dishes and enjoying a shower when literally comes out as a trickle if anyone else is using at same time ! That was something everyone in house found annoying . It Was stocked very nicely with towels cups, dishes etc but we did find lacked a bit in items to make big family dinners and breakfasts. Only one frying pan one large pot and serving dish kind of thing. Otherwise everything else was perfect! We loved the high ceilings and cozy feel of the home. We would definitely stay again one day!

Family Trip with young family

The place is very well appointed, a couple maintenance issues but I am sure the hosts will address as they were very very good to deal with. The ski trail is about 25 steps up a steep hill but very doable and the ski in is awesome! Its a short drive to the village, ice skating and tubing not walkable. All in all a great experience and we would stay again.

Absolutely love everything about this property!

Great location with easy ski-in ski-out access. House is beautiful and clean. Kitchen is well stocked as well as the bathrooms and showers. We were a group of eight adults who are friends and do a yearly ski trip together and this has been our best experience by far. We will be back. I also have to say Lindsay from Silver Star Stays is awesome! Very easy to communicate with and a lovely soul.
