I cannot say enough about how wonderful this property is. Pietro the host pays attention to every detail and the place is beautiful. It is also perfectly located to enjoy Matera. I cannot recommend it more highly.

Comfortable and great location

Pietro is a lovely host and leaves a lot in the apartment for guests to use. It’s in a good and quiet location,an easy walk into the old town and the beds are very comfortable.

Excellent location, great communication

The location of the apartment is perfect and easy to walk to all the key sites and shopping. The gentleman that checked us in was very sweet and worked Google Translate liked a pro. Great, basic accomodations.

Clean, modern and an excellent location!

My Family and I had a great time staying in this house. It is so close to the old city, very comfortable and has excellent air conditioning. Pietro, the host, was friendly and helpful. It is great value for the money, enabling us to have a wonderful time in Matera.

A beautiful home just steps from Sassi

The host greeted us at the door, gave us a quick tour of the property, and pointed out places to see and stay. Just steps from the historic Sassi district of Matera, we couldn’t have been more pleased with what we found.

Our kides aged 25 to 28 now say thay Matera is the greatest town k warth such was the live we had for the accommodation and town

We loved everything about this space. The attention to detail in decorating and in making sure we were taken care of was amazing. The space was not only beautiful, and clean but in the perfect spot for use to roam around and see everything. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Pietro’s spacious and clean home, perfectly located within walking distance of many restaurants and the Sassi. Well worth staying a few nights to see Matera in the evening all lit up. Pietro was very responsive to our texts and we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality! The parking spot is very appreciated in Matera as well. Thank you Pietro!

A great pleasure!

Love this property! So welcoming by the father of the host. It was incredibly well-equipped and beautiful. So many extras - free parking, coffee, breakfast foods, water, paper towels, soaps, etc. Great location to the Sassi. Easy walking distance to the sights. We could not have asked for better communication. We’d love to return and stay here. Do yourself a favor and stay here when in Matera!

I can start by saying there's not going to be enough room here to list all the things we loved about our stay with Pietre and Materra! The home was located perfectly on the edge of the old city. It came with all the accoutrement you could ask for, with the possible exception of salt. Pietre was a perfect host guiding us into our parking space on a secured lot at the back of his home. He took his time as he ran us through all the elements of the house to make our stay comfortable and pleasant, allowing us all the time we needed to ask any questions we had. With a full kitchen and the addition of many extras that were included, the house also included two full baths and lots of room to roam even inside the home. We loved our stay in Materra and it was enhanced by staying with Pietre - we highly recommend this location!

Trip to italy

Pietro our Host was wonderful. He met us at the property and oriented us to the apartment and the area. He had a map ready for us to help us navigate the city of many hills. It was perfect. The location was 1 block from the old city entrance. The apartment was comfortabke, adorable , and had all amenities , including snacks. We will be back and will stay here again. Thank you Pierto for your kindness!

Matera Marvel

The apartment has an excellent location quite near the historic center of Matera and within walking distance of the Sassi. But the highlight for us was wonderful Pietro, the owner. Not only had he stocked the refrigerator and cupboard with goodies, but he also arranged an emergency dental appointment for my husband, drove us there, and acted as our interpreter. During our stay and afterwards, he checked up on us to see how my husband was doing, and he told us not to worry about anything regarding the apartment prior to our departure. Wonderful person, very nice apartment, fabulous city.

Vraiment tout était parfait ! Emplacement de premier choix avec parking privé fermé. Nous avons pu faire toutes nos visites à pied depuis le logement.Appartement très propre, spacieux, convivial, cuisine bien équipée, tout en parfait état de fonctionnement.Et notre hôte Pietro était tellement sympathique et professionnel. Il nous attendait avec le sourire, sous son parapluie, alors qu'un orage venait d'éclater !Il a pris le temps de nous donner toutes les informations nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour. Nous vous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés.

L’appartement de Pietro est d’une propriété exemplaire et d’un décor plein de charme.Nous avons été accueilli par lui comme des rois. Tout pour le petit déjeuner était prévu et mieux que dans certains hôtels.Il nous a tout expliqué et nous nous sommes vraiment sentis bien chez lui. Il mérite une belle médaille d’or.

We loved the apartment, we were tired from traveling and it was so nice to see that coffee pods were available, pastries, water, shampoo. The little extras make a big difference. We were late arriving but Domenico and his father waited for us and explained all details, both were very pleasant to deal with. The location is also a plus, short walk to the piazza. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend this unit.

Magic Matera
