This newly renovated, stylish one-bedroom apartment offers the perfect place to stay in Darlington. The historic town with all of its shops, bars and restaurants is a short walk from this chic and sophisticated apartment. Sleeping up to two guests and boasting free parking and WiFi, you can enjoy The Auckland for both leisure and business in the area, either individually or with your loved one.

The Space:
The Auckland has a stylish open plan living, kitchen and dining room.

LIVING ROOM
With a neutral colour scheme and a light blue sofa. Additional pops of colour are added with orange and teal soft furnishings. The perfect spot to relax, you can enjoy a night in front of the flat screen Smart TV, or simply kick back and relax with a good book.

KITCHEN
Fully equipped for all types of stay, the kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, freezer and washing machine. You’ll also have all the cookware, crockery and cutlery required for self-catering.

DINING AREA
The dining area comes in the form of a white circular dining table with two velvet dining chairs, which can double as a laptop friendly workspace for remote working.

BEDROOM
Adjoining the living room you’ll find the spacious king-size bedroom with plush bedding, black-out curtains, colourful soft furnishings and modern decor.

BATHROOM
The ensuite bathroom features a generously sized shower, WC and wash basin.

GARDEN
Outside the apartment you will find a shared front garden which is laid with artificial grass.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Private on-site parking is available outside the property for one vehicle.

Long term stays require a clean and linen/towel change at least every two weeks. or more regularly if required. Please note that this may be chargeable.

The Neighborhood:
The Auckland is ideally located to experience Darlington and the surrounding areas. The town centre is packed with everything you could need to enjoy your short break. You can catch the latest film or theatrical performance at Vue Cinema or The Darlington Hippodrome. Enjoy the history of the iconic St Cuthbert's Church, browse the wide range of designer stores and seek out the unique independent boutiques hidden in the historic yards of the town.

If you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy a romantic setting for two, a business lunch or a group get-together with friends, Darlington will have a cosy café, stylish restaurant or relaxing bistro to suit.

If you are looking to explore further afield you can enjoy the beauty of the North Yorkshire moors or Yorkshire coastline where you’ll find country trails and beautiful bays to explore.

Getting Around:
Darlington is extremely well served with road and rail networks allowing you easy access to many major cities and towns across the UK. You can travel by train to London or Edinburgh in just over two hours, or Leeds, York and Newcastle in less than an hour. With direct north-south and east-west road connections via the A1(M) and A66, Darlington provides a fast connection with the area and the rest of the country.

With excellent bus routes from Arriva and National Express you can explore the North East and beyond with ease while taking in the views.

Just six miles away, you will find the Durham Tees Valley Airport which connects Darlington to a selection of UK and European cities.
