No mattress for pull out sofa
Check in was a nightmare. We tried the key in every other apartment in the building before we found it on the second floor. That floor also has a business so we didn’t realize there was an apartment on that floor initially. The owner kept referring to pictures that wouldn’t load prior to or during our trip. Without the pictures we couldn’t see the full address and the owner refused to send it, telling us to check the pictures. The pull out sofa doesn’t have a mattress. It just folds out into a lopsided box spring. Essentially, there is one bed and a small couch. Laundry is down the hall, not in the room, but easily accessible. Location was perfect for walking to tour buses. It seemed like the platform was glitching. We could never message the owner by replying to an existing thread. We had to search on the platform and find the property and start a new thread every time we asked for information. It took a lot of clicking around the website to find ways to get the platform to accept the message and recognize the owner as a recipient. It seemed like she had changed her account name or something. This was really frustrating for all involved and the owner started being rude about telling us to check pictures and use existing threads instead of just giving us the information we needed. After exhausting travel, it was scary not knowing whether we really had a place to stay or whether we’d find the apartment.
