Adriel'sPlace is an open design, spacious beach house, located in a private sub-island within Anna Maria. A quiet golf residential neighborhood tucked away on the natural mangroves of Anna Maria Sound and Bimini Bay.
A private and secluded location, with low vehicular traffic, yet just a stone throw from all beaches, golf course , restaurants and the best of the island amenities .

Recently renovated with travertine marble and Brazilian cherry woods in guest quarters. A modern gourmet kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and wrap around granite breakfast bar . New environmental friendly and low allergen air conditioning system. New bathroom designs featuring rich wood cabinetry and marble tops. European style shower panels feature rain mode shower or multi-jet massage nozzles. Panoramic pocket sliding glass doors open the whole house to an inviting paver unscreened pool terrace and waterway views, great for family entertaining. Master bedroom features a queen size posturepedic bed. Guest room has 2 twin firm beds + 2 pull out twin mattresses for children. In addition a queen sofa fed is available in the family room . This house is my family's summer home. Thus I keep some personal items there and although you are welcome to use them , we ask you to treat them with respect .

Anna Maria is a unique seven mile barrier island. Located West of Bradenton and North of Longboat Key and Sarasota. Reached by either of two bridges from the mainland, it remains undisturbed and one of the most picturesque coastal scenes in Florida. No high rises, no chain or fast food, a quiet villa atmosphere dotted with bike paths and marinas, friendly locals, great shopping, fishing, boating, miles of unspoiled turquoise blue beaches.

A designated wildlife sanctuary, a protected nesting site to endangered loggerhead turtles, and home to many other species.
Only a few minutes by boat to beautiful Passage ( naturalist beach ) and Egmont Keys, ( where you can roam the ruins of a pre Spanish - USA war ) and unique among the first chartered federal preserves bird sanctuaries in the nation. Well guarded secret among locals, they feature the most beautiful beaches in the west-coast of Florida.
Driving distance from Bush Gardens Tampa and Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World in Orlando.

Enjoyable stay!
Overall I had a great time with my little pup LuLu. The highlights are the solar heated pool with beautiful views looking over the canal. The house is in a beautiful upscale community with very nice neighbors and the massage showers are fantastic.

Great location and easy access to the water
The host was very easy to communicate. The house location is great and gives very easy access to the open water with no height restrictions on boats.

Great little home on the Canal
My family & I had a great stay at Gil's home. The pool & outdoor area and access to the canal are what made the location. Gil provides bicycles, pool equipment and a kayak for use and was friendly & available to answer any questions we had quickly throughout the stay. The home is a 2 bedroom, so a little small for a family of 5 although there were extra mattresses to use in the second bedroom as well as a pullout sofa (but my daughter and I stayed by ourselves for half the stay and it was perfect for a family of two or three! I was able to work from the porch while she swam in the pool for hours.) The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the neighborhood was quiet with the ability to park in the garage. We did bike to the beach on two occasions. It's too far to walk so we also drove over- and visited Bean Pointe- george is sunsets! (although parking on Anna Maria is very limited right now. The home could get a little hot in the master bedroom at times (a bedside fan was provided) as it's an older home- also w/ older decor. And the bathroom sink didn't always drain... but small issues that I never even mentioned... and the fantastic showers more than made up for it. Also, there is a good amount of construction on homes in the area- so there could be building noises if outside, but I didn't really hear it from inside the house. All in all, a great stay and place to be able to easily socially distance from- with great outdoor seating, a dock to pull our rental boat up to & nightly sunsets that were almost as beautiful from the house as the beach. Thanks for sharing your home with us Gil!

Relax in Paradise
Centrally located on Anna Maria island, on a canal with easy access to the water off the dock. We were 4 adults which the roomy house more than satisfies. The check-in could not be easier. The house was immaculate and fully stocked with all the linens, towels and kitchen utensils a chef would be happy. The kitchen is huge with plenty of seating area for a large family. The pool deck is where you will be. Large sliders off the living room and kitchen allow you to really open up the home and let the tropical breezes flow through. Tastefully decorated for the beach vibe. Our host has truly thought of everything. He is so helpful and responded immediately if you have a question. The neighborhood is very nice, safe and among beautiful homes. There is a dog park a few blocks away with large dog/small dog areas. While you may be here to explore the area, just know that when you return to this home you will feel as if in a private sanctuary as you kick back on the pool deck overlooking the canal or in the living room with the windows open to the tropical breeze. I highly recommend this home. No disappointments, only more comfort than I had imagined. Thank you Gil for the happy memories you have given my family.

Great Location!
We enjoyed our stay in Key Royale. Our kids loved the pool and the tranquility of the backyard . We also loved the close proximity to the beach and being able to ride bikes every day. Gil the owner was very nice and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay.

Great owner! Lovely home!!
Our family was warmly welcomed by the home owner upon our arrival. The open space of indoor and outdoor living was perfect for us. Some minor housekeeping issues that the home owner graciously apologized for and refunded us the cleaning fee was much appreciated. We would come back again!!

Location Location Location!
We stayed at the home in February, 2019 for 10 days. We really enjoyed the pool and the spacious home. It is ideally located in a very quiet and intimate location. The owner was quite responsive and accommodating. Thanks Gil!

Filthy Run Down Dump
I wish there was a way to rate negative stars. When we arrived, this place was so disgustingly run down, we left IMMEDIATELY. We have filed a complain against the owner through VRBO,and will take additional steps to get a refund as the owner has denied to refund our money. The Health Dept will also be notified. Upon our arrival the exterior of the property was sloppy and the landscaping was overgrown and trashy. As we stood at the front door, the first thing we saw was a threadbare, dirty floor mat. We had an uneasy feeling about even going in. Entering was a mistake. The interior doors had paint peeling off of them, the walls were marred and dirty, and the base boards throughout the house were black with dirt and what looked like mold. The refrigerator was too disgusting to put food into it. It looked like it had Black mold on the entire length of the rubber door frame and the interior had multiple spills and goo between the shelves.,All of the kitchen surfaces were greasy to the touch, and the cabinet handles were rusted, greasy and disgusting. Sorry I keep using that word, but it fits so well ! Let me go on. The towels in the bathroom were dirty, stained, and threadbare. There were clothes hanging in the closets. There were bare mattresses on the floor that were stained. There was even garbage under the bed! The outdoor grill was rusted, dirty, and 1/2 filled with ashes from years of neglect. This place should not be allowed to be rented.

Property was just as advertised. Great location. Great view on the canal. Pool was perfect.
Owner was very receptive and providing information before our stay in during our stay. We did have some questions pertaining to check in and check out. And also a couple functions with the pool. And every time we called or texted him, he responded back immediately. It was a great vacation for our entire family. We got a lot of rest and have a great time on the island. We were very sad to have to come back home to Indiana. We would recommend this place to anybody interested in traveling to Annamaria Island area.

Beautiful home on a beautiful island
We had a great time on the island. The house is beautiful and felt to be a nice size for a large group. The kids loved the pool and hammocks. The house is surfaced cleaned but really could use a deep cleaning (ex. The baseboards were dusty and dirty.) Beware in the checkout process it states to launder excess laundry. We did the beach towels but of course with 7 there are a lot of sheets and towels. We had them all in one pile before our morning flight. We were fined heavily for not having it all done. The house is in a nice area and the beaches on the island are beautiful. The bike had a flat tire and be careful some of the beach chairs are held together by rusty screws. The beds are very firm. The showers are wonderful. The donut experiment is a must. It's fun and the doughnuts are very tasty. The trolley and island monkey makes getting around the island easy.

Just right for us!
This was our first trip to Anna Maria Island. We will definitely go back. In addition to the beautiful, beautiful beach, we got to be on the island during their St. Patrick's Day parade (an unexpected treat!). We travel a lot and love trying new restaurants. There are several including Beach Bistro, The Sandbar, Lobstah's and Eat Here that we really loved. The house itself is just minutes from the most beautiful part of the beach. I walked there a couple of mornings, but most days we drove so we could take the beach chairs, bags, etc. The house is nestled amongst all different types/sizes of homes. This home was the right size for me, my husband, and our two college-age kids. The glass pocket doors in the kitchen and living room were generally always open out to the pool where we always took advantage of the outdoor audio system. We were out there a lot! We took the tandem kayak out on the water a few times. And took the bikes out for a ride a couple of times. The renovations are great (we loved the master shower with the multiple jets). Overall, we had a nice stay -- it was perfect for us.

Just what we were looking for!
I wanted to take my elderely parents to Florida to visit my brother and his wife. I needed a quiet, relaxing, safe place and found it on Emerald Lane. The owner was very friendly and wanted to make sure everything was just perfect. This beautiful home is located in a quiet neighborhood but only minutes away from everything that Anna Marie Island had to offer. There are 3 walls that literally open up completely to bring the pool area right inside, it's amazing! Lots of room to move around! We are so thankful to the owners for sharing their home with us. We would definately consider returning in the future if we are able to.

Easter 2009
Adriel's Place is a dream come true for a small family vacation. Cozy and luxurious yet unpretentious. Well equipped for the whole family entertainment. The back yard is a tropical paradise dotted with exotic palms, a waterway often host of frolicking dolphins and peaceful manatees. My kids enjoyed the house more than anyone else. Bikes, hammocks, kayak, pool....

Great place to relax
We stayed here for a week in Nov. '08 and enjoyed all the amenities. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the lovely peaceful view from the back of the house overlooking the pool and canal. The house felt very spacious, especially with the sliding glass pocket doors opening up to the patio area. The second bedroom is a little sparse for adults, but fine for children. The master bedroom is very nice with a very comfortable bed. We would definitely rent this property again. Gil, the owner was accommodating and easy to work with on arrival and departure times.
