Great stay

We stayed here for our son’s graduation from OCS. The location was great. The house and gardens were lovely. We had everything we needed. The hosts were attentive and helpful.

Wonderful Retreat

We absolutely loved this experience. Roses covered the garden entrance & the pool was so inviting that my seven year old required us to spend the first few hours in comfortable chairs (surrounded by gorgeous hydrangeas) as he swam his little heart out. Each room was the right size, the kitchen was fully stocked, and our hostess could not have been more lovely. We easily strolled to shops and restaurants; and we slept soundly since the unit is in a residential neighborhood. Well definitely return

Lovely cottage in Newport

Charron is a wonderful host. The property is in close proximity to all the action of Newport and a quick drive to the beach. My little one loved swimming in the pool and Charron even shared several pool toys. The little touches Charron brought to the space were lovely, like flowers from her garden in the cottage. Charron was wonderful to work with through the entire booking and even while we were on site.

Fantastic Newport home with pool

We had a fantastic time and the pool was amazing. Even though the pool is not heated it was 80degrees most days, very clean and a beautiful outdoor space. Our 11 year old had a blast! Our hostess was friendly and accommodating and the unit was very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again! The location was also good, very quiet

Quaint and cozy

The cottage is adorable inside and out. Quiet neighborhood 1 mile from the beach. The owner is friendly and courteous. I stayed with my daughter as we looked at nearby colleges. Highly recommend!

Clean and comfortable!

This property was the perfect hub for our weekend in Newport. We had everything we needed for quick breakfasts before we spent our days exploring Newport. Beds were comfortable and there was enough room for four adults to sit together in the common area. Hosts are very responsive and truly care about the property. Unfortunately we didn’t leave ourselves enough time to enjoy the beautiful garden and pool house but maybe another time.

Nice oasis.

This house is away from the madness of the downtown area but a 5-10 minute Uber ride to restaurants. Sorry it was too chilly to use the pool but sitting in the beautiful gardens and pool house were wonderful. We would definitely recommend.

Home away

Nice place for sure, had to leave early due to family emergency, alittle pricey as I felt like a lot of restrictions, couldn’t use the screen house after a certain time so hard to sit outside with the bugs. Gate locked at a certain time, couldn’t use pool after a certain time. It was quite small for even 3 people for the price. Hostess was very nice.

Comfortable hospitality

Cottage was inviting and pleasantly decorated. Equipped with tea kettle, bottled water in fridge, beach towels and fresh flowers. Garden and pool area were welcoming and private. Host answered our questions quickly. Delightful experience!

Relaxing

Just as described - but a bit further from The town and beach than anticipated. More like a long walk to town vs “walking” distance to town. Otherwise just perfect. It was always nice to come back to the property and enjoy the private pool area

Garden Oasis

We primarily visited to attend the Newport Folk Festival. The location was about a mile away to downtown and a short ride to the ferry. It was also very close to restaurants and other amenities iof the Newport area The unit itself was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool which was surrounded by a beautiful garden. Charron ,the owner of the property, was very gracious about our questions about the plants she had placed in the pool area Would definitely recommend staying there if you are visiting Newport.

Reed Rose Cottage - Newport

The apartment was in a nice neighborhood and convenient to Newport and Middletown attractions, restaurants, beaches, and shopping. The space was small but private and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely pool and surrounding gardens. The apartment did get warm and while the air conditioning units did help to cool the space, the one in the master bedroom was noisy at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and time in Newport.

Oasis of calm in hydrangea heaven

Reed Rose Cottage is a lovely place to stay, especially when you can take advantage of the gorgeous outside area. We were happy to return to the house and lounge by the pool, just taking it all in. The host is very gracious and welcoming. Because we were in town for a wedding so had most meals already planned with family, we didn’t take advantage of the pool house and grill, although the set it up means that guests can easily enjoy a meal outdoors. [The kitchenette upstairs is fine for making toast and coffee, not for serious cooking.]

Lovely Cottage

Probably the prettiest house on the block, this cottage was as advertised. Though weather did not permit us to swim, the pool and yard were a relaxing atmosphere. The space is the top floor and it was very clean and had nearly everything you needed for a stay with children in tow. Now of only our hosts could have changed the weather! Thank you Charron!

Cute Cottage

Friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful garden and pool, and clean, cute accommodations. Greeted by beautiful flower arrangements from the garden. Coin laundry not on site. Would definitely stay here again.

Review of rose cottage

We felt there was no flexibility in regards to any type of refund during COVID surge. Our elderly parents were not able to come due to the surge and no refund at all was offered even though we did give adequate notice The shower tub was clogged and did not drain. Also the kitchen supplies were sparse The cottage was clean and the pool area was a lovely relaxing space

Family getaway

Our family had a great time. My son loved using the pool all the time and wanted that over the beach. Charron was very helpful with recommendation of places to go and eat. Thank you for a great family vacation during COVID.

Wonderful relaxing weekend

We came down to Newport for the Jazz Festival and had a wonderful weekend at the cottage. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Charron was very welcoming and met us to show us around . The gardens and pool area are beautiful, although we were so busy we didn’t have much time to enjoy them. We will plan on coming back again next year!
