La Casa de La Montana is located in the heart of Big Bear Lake in a very secluded location and on a large land lot. It also includes a game room with a Pool Table, Foosball Table, Poker Table, Air Hockey table and board games. Only six minutes away from The Village Shops, three minutes away from Snow Summit Ski Resort, five minutes away from The Bowling Barn, one minute away from The Big Bear Alpine Zoo and nine minutes away from Boulder Bay Park. You can drive or walk to convenient location.

Make memorable vacation memories in this spectacular mountain getaway at La Casa de La Montana. This beautiful one story cabin with a three bedroom and two bath cabin is a beautiful property for family and friends to spend time together in the desirable heart of Big Bear Lake. Inside this home boast light and airy spaces and comfortable furniture. After a long busy day exploring Big Bear, whether from the lake, slopes, hiking trails, skiing, or even just exploring the town, relax next to the fireplace or on the backyard deck patio. Our cabin has two gas fireplaces for your enjoyment and two living rooms.

Come enjoy this beautiful cabin which includes a game room (Pool Table, Foosball Table, Air Hockey Table, Poker Table and many board games), spacious living areas and gourmet kitchen. Cozy up inside by the gas insert fireplace. There is a large backyard deck for relaxing and a gas grill for you to enjoy with outdoor furniture. FREE WiFi.
If relaxing is more your thing enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset on the deck.
*Kitchen: Fully stocked gourmet kitchen, refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, and oven.
*Dining Room: Former dining table for 6. Coffee and tea station and a high chair is available.
*Laundry Room: washer and dryer.
THE SPACE:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance limits maximum occupancy to 12 people and 3 cars. (Children, toddlers and infants do count as a person). Please DO NOT book or arrive with more than the maximum or you could be fined from the city and evicted with no money back.
For your safety and protection, there is a Nest camera on the front deck facing the driveway and a camera above the garage door facing the exterior of the house (driveway) recording on motion.
Guest access
THE ENTIRE HOUSE IS YOURS TO USE. Guests enjoy full access including the front and backyard and 3 car garage. Exceptions are the locked maintenance closets. Unauthorized access to these locked closets will automatically forfeit your entire deposit.

No loud guests and music
IMPORTANT: I want to emphasize that there is zero tolerance for parties at our home. I value my home and want it to stay in good condition. I ask guests to be respectful towards the neighbors by keeping the noise and music down, especially after 10PM. Our neighbors will instantly call the cops and the code enforcement if noise is excessive. I ask guests to only book with us if they are not planning on partying.
Parking Notes:
Maximum cars allowed: 3 cars in the parking lot.
*No dog(s) are welcome in this home. Please note this is an ANIMAL-FREE property! Due to our children's severe allergies to pet danger we kindly ask guests who are bringing pets including service animals, to seek other accommodations. Thank you for respecting our children's safety.
No other animals are allowed without specific approval.
*Bedroom 1: Master Suite with 1 King bed and en-suite master bathroom with a large bathtub and carpet floor.
*Bedroom 2: 1 Queen bed
*Bedroom 3: 1 set of bunk beds (Twin bed & Full Bed) & a second full size bed.
*Full Bathroom #2
TRASH: Big Bear Lake does not permit trash to be left on site per City Code. Guests are required to remove and dispose all trash at one of the free "Clean Bear" trash sites located: 39669 Big Bear Blvd. and 41974 Garstin Rd. Either of these sites can be used to dispose your trash. A list of locations will be posted at the cabin for you.
NON-SMOKING: Our cabin is a non-smoking property. Smoking in home penalty will be $500 if there is any evidence of smoking or any illicit drugs.
Rules are posted on the wall near the front door. Primary renter must be 25 years or older. ID will be checked upon check in and it must match to the person who is on the reservation.
QUIET HOURS: 10PM-8AM. No outdoor noise after 10PM, and indoor noise after 10pm should not be heard by the neighbors. No audible music outside of any sort at any time the day or night (BIG BEAR POLICY).
No additional overnight or day guests not listed in the reservation number. No day or overnight occupancy above 12, and no more than 3 vehicles. $200 fine per guest per day and possible eviction if guest above12 do not immediately leave. Any fine levied by the city of Big Bear Lake as a result of guests partying, making noise, parking on streets, damaging property or any other good neighbor violation will be directly charged to guest and guest will be subject to immediate eviction for cause with no refund. Fine levied by the city are typically between $500-$2000 per instance.
STORM POLICY/ROAD/ICE CONDITIONS: The Big Bear Region can be subject to extreme weather conditions. Big Bear requires you to carry tire chains in your car during the winter months (October-April). In some instances, USE OF TIRE CHAINS WILL BE REQUIRED by local law enforcement to get up the mountain. Please obtain appropriate chains for your vehicle and know how to use them. No refunds will be issued as a result of road closures or poor road conditions.
LIABILITY: HOMEOWNERS are NOT responsible for any personal injury or loss or damage to guests persons or property. All guests staying assume the risk to their persons and property caused directly or indirectly from foul, weather conditions, acts of nature, failure of heat, accidents related to fire, heaters, stoves, or hot tub, any other appliances, falling of pine cones or tree branches and any other unforeseeable circumstances. Under no circumstances will guests hold host/owners responsible for any damages or claims of any kind resulting from their stay.
AGREEMENT: By booking La Casa de La Montana, you are accepting and agreeing to follow all terms and conditions above and you accept liability for all fines by the owner.
