I will probably grab this cabin again. Perfect for a family or a girls weekend. The fact the hot tub was in the screened in porch, ruled!! Everything you need is there, and its a straight shot to Helen.

This cabin was just as described. We had a restful, peaceful stay which is what we were after. Cabin feels secluded but does have neighbors but they are far away enough as to not intrude on the mountain atmosphere. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable.

This was a great trip until we got home. The cabin was ok. A little run down and a little dirty but I cleaned it real good when we got there. The main issue is we have not received our deposit back. Sadie said 7 to 10 business days, and now it's going to be an additional 3 to 4 weeks. Sadie has quit communicating with me since this new development. The money was instantly taken out of our account when we paid. We left the cabin much cleaner than we found it, and now it is going to take a total of almost six weeks to get my refund?!? What in the world is going on?!?
I’m sorry you are having difficulty with VRBO retuning your deposit. As I have stated and VRBO has also contacted you, this issue is with them. I do not hold your deposit. They do. When you book with a third party booking agent they process your money and hold any deposit. I do not have any of your info to return a deposit I do not collect.
I did not quit communicating with you. I I called VRBO on your behalf and they contacted you about the deposit they have not returned. In my last attempt to appease you i offered to mail you $100, even though you will receive your deposit from VRBO eventually.
As you stated “your trip was really good until you got home”, therefore it sounds as if the 1 Star is for that reason which is out of my control. It is very unfair to me to give my property such a low review because you are mad at VRBO. Very unfair. It is also unfair that they have not returned your deposit. If you had booked directly with me instead of VRBO you would not have paid a deposit at all. I ask you to send me your address and I will mail a check for your $100 deposit. The $100 is not worth you throwing off on my cabin.
