Great well-equiped cabin in a quiet and peacefull area close to Asheville. We were 4 adults and 2 dogs and had a great stay. Wish we could stay for a week !

Stunning and Peaceful

I had such a beautiful and calming stay at the Candler House. The view of Mount Pisgah was absolutely stunning, and the design of the home felt just perfect—both aesthetically and energetically. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged, which made it easy to relax and feel at ease.One of my favorite features was having two outdoor areas—one upper and one lower—where I could sit and take in the natural environment. The house is located next to a horse ranch, which added an unexpected touch of magic. During the day, we could see the horses walking by from the porch, and at night, we heard the soft sound of their galloping in the distance—it wasn’t loud or disruptive, just a gentle, enchanting reminder of the life nearby.This is a wonderful place to retreat, unwind, and reconnect with nature. I would definitely go back again.

Our family of four loved the retreat at the horse chalet! The decor, view, and location were lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We loved sitting on the deck for meals and watching the birds and play of light on Mt. Pisgah.There were a few minor issues--the kids loved the swing, but I hesitated to have them use it much, as the grass in the yard was very tall and I worried about ticks. The grass in the long driveway was also in need of mowing, and the bushes lining the drive needed to be trimmed. Inside the house, the dishwasher hadn't been unloaded, and the glasses remaining on the shelf were dusty and had dead bugs in them. There were mouse droppings in some drawers, on the floor, and on the dining table. Laundry had been left in the washer and dryer, which I had to unload to be able to wash our clothes, and which explained the shortage of dish towels. My husband and kids were uncomfortable with the window overlooking the bathroom from the steps--it seemed one would have to really try to look in, but it is possible. All things considered, however, we all loved our stay. And the stars at night were incredible! We'd definitely come back.

This property sits right next to our working horse farm. We love horses, gardening and hosting events and classes. When this house became available right next to the Ranch, we were thrilled! We've always wanted a property where we could wake up right next to our horses, and this is it! We hope you'll enjoy it too :)

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The Candler valley is so sweet and beautiful! We purchased our farm/Ranch almost 3 years ago. We offer horse boarding that truly centers around the horses and the land. We also have two working greenhouses, gardens and a small orchard. And there is a delicious and wonderful bakery two blocks up the road- Budgies Bakery!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

When you look out one side of the house, you look directly at Mt Pisgah. When you look out the other side, you overlook the horse pastures. It's perfect! There are also beautiful decks on two sides of the house, and a patio outside of the downstairs bedroom.
