Enchanting Roundhouse near east Glacier

This beautiful roundhouse was designed and built by 2 Vietnam Veterans, my father and his friend Bailey. They had a vision for this property for winter adventures and then share that dream with renters in the Summer months. Sadly my father passed away in October 2022 after battling with Multiple Myeloma for many years caused from his exposure to Agent Orange during his time in Vietnam. His children and grandchildren are continuing his legacy and sharing this unique opportunity with those wishing to experience "Big Sky" country as well. My father loved Montana and the outdoors and we are thankful to share this beauty with you.

The cabin features an open layout with plenty of sleeping arrangements to accommodate up to 5 people. There is a wood burning stove for heat if needed during some colder evenings. There is a sink available with a Culligan container and pump for washing up, dishes, etc. However, there is no indoor plumbing or running water. Bottled and potable water will be provided. For bathroom needs, the outhouse is located approximately 15 yards past the cabin in a sheltered area for privacy down a maintained, grassy path. There is a gas grill and picnic table outside the cabin for use, with some utensils provided.

If after a long hike or sightseeing you wish to take a "real" shower, Aspen woods lodge offers clean warm showers for 5$, and has delicious breakfast approximately 10 minutes away. there is also the East Glacier KOA campground approx. 25miles away with ice-cream, pizza, snacks, a pool, laundry and shower facilities for use for a small fee.

Across the field, located on the same 20 acre property as the round house is a small home where the caretake lives. She is available for questions if needed, otherwise your stay will be uninterrupted.
