Escucha los sonidos de somormujos en la noche y despertar con el sol sale excepcionales en la paz y tranquilidad de nuestra casa de campo rodeada de 200 pies de pinos. A tan sólo 25 metros de distancia de su puerta es uno de los lagos más limpios de Maine. Bear Pond, ubicado en Hartford / Turner Maine, es de más de 400 hectáreas y ofrece esquí acuático excepcional, gran pesca de la lubina y otras actividades al aire libre.

La casa es muy bonito y bien decorado para que, Maine, una escapada especial frente al lago. La propiedad tiene una casa de literas separadas que pueden dormir cuatro "perfecto para los niños" o otra pareja. La casa tiene dos dormitorios cada uno con camas de tamaño completo. La casa de literas tiene una cama litera (doble en la parte superior y completa en la parte inferior y una cama de tamaño doble separada.

Construido en la década de 1950 por un constructor de barcos de Maine, la casa está llena de detalles y encanto.

The camp has everything you need. Very quaint, cozy, quiet, and peaceful place to stay. The AC and fireplace were essential while there, very nice to have.

Loved it!

Everything we needed was provided, from cooking, wifi, smart tv, to the atmosphere of the lake with the eagles flying around and listening to the sound of the loons. The water was so clear and refreshing. It was a quiet and enjoyable week.

This was our first time staying on bear pond. We loved it there. The cabin was so nice, it was like someone just got up and left. We had everything that we needed inside and out. The only thing we needed to bring was our food and clothes. The cabin is very clean and decorated so nice. We had a great family reunion and there was plenty of room for all of us. We would love to go back again.

Wonderful place for a relaxing stay!!

This is my second time renting the Bear Pond Cottage. The cottage is a small but very cozy place with both heat and AC and AC has been added to the bunk house, a very nice upgrade. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay including 2 kayaks. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet with Balde Eagles, loons and herons nearby. The owner, Jeff, is wonderful and responded very quickly when needed. Barb Assonet, MA

A cozy cottage with everything you would need. Very relaxing and quiet surroundings!

Jeff, the property manager, was very easy to work with. Answering any communication immediately, provided all necessary information about the cottage along with an extensive list of places to go, shop, eat and have fun in the surrounding area. The cottage is clean and well supplied with everything you may need. Cottage is well cared for and updated. Bunk house is a plus. The waterfront has actual stairs into the water, swallow entry with sandy bottom, water is clear. Would be great for kids. There are two nice kayaks provided with paddles and lifejackets along with a rowboat. Most impressive is the quiet surroundings with loons and a special visit of two Bald Eagles that landed in the Pines just overhead, how beautiful. Certainly, a place that I look forward to returning to again.

Great vacation on Bear pond

Jeff was a great host. He told us what we needed to know about the property. The cabin was in excellent condition, and the view of the pond was awesome. If you are looking for a secluded spot this is the place. Thank you Jeff.

Lake cabin

Loved sound of loons, eagles overhead too. Plenty of room for guests. All necessities at our fingertips. Improvement: increase shower pressure, fix rowboat oar dock, clean grill for next guests.

Fabulous cabin and lake

Well stocked cabin on the quiet side of the lake. So peaceful! Kayaks were provided which was great. We had a fabulous time - very relaxing! Will definitely return!!

Great Spot! Great house set-up for my family.

We had such a lovely week at the house. It was a nice surprise (even though the pictures showed it) to have the "extra" room on the side of the main cabin. The bunkhouse was great for my teenage sons. My daughters and I stayed in the house. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We loved the kayaks and used them every single day. We enjoyed the backyard firepit and the privacy of the trees. The bald eagles nesting directly over head were amazing! The neighbors were lovely and friendly too.

What a lake cottage trip should be

My family with two kids (11,7) enjoyed the cottage on a quiet pond/lake. We swam at least 3 times a day and kayaked just as much. The place was clean, AC kept the place cool, had everything we needed, including movies and board games for down time. I was happy that there was no WIFI to unplug my kids. The cottage reminded me when I used to go with my family years ago and learned how to unwind, relax and just enjoy the sunrises and sounds of the loons or local eagle.

Bear Pond

We very much enjoyed our week here, and look forward to going back. The cottage met our needs in every way, and the kids loved having the bunkhouse to themselves. Bear Pond is one of our favorite places. With the shallow entrance it is great for our younger children. Fishing is great as well.

Lakefront camp

We really enjoyed our week at camp. Had everything we needed. Loved swimming and going out in the kayaks. Having the bunkhouse is great for those traveling with middle age or teen children.

THEN ENTER THE QUAINT , COZY , CLEAN , AND BRIGHT INTERIOR. AS YOU GAZE OUT THROUGH THE FRONT ROOM , WHERE A LARGE WINDOW OVERLOOKS BEAR POND AND PRACTICALLY FIXATES YOU ON IT'S NATURAL BEAUTY . THEN , OUT OF NOWHERE , YOU HEAR THE BEAUTIFUL CALL OF THE LOON AS IT SWIMS BY THE CABIN AND DIVES FOR FISH . Wonderful way to recharge and relax.

This camp is in a great location to enjoy both Big and Little Bear Pond. Our mornings started with coffee on the dock in the morning sun. The sandy, shallow shoreline made for great swimming with my grandson. The kayaks are a great way to get out on the lakes to explore via access through the narrows. The camp is cozy, kept cool by protection from the large pines. We brought our own canoe for evening paddles and fishing adventures. The camp is well appointed with everything you need to enjoy the traditional feel of being at camp in Maine! I would love to return next summer. We made great family memories in this beautiful spot!

Charming cozy cabin

I recently brought my family to the cabin at Bear pond. I have two young girls ages 3 and 5. This cabin was perfect for them. Very well stocked (more than most) including children’s board games. The lake is very shallow at the dock and gradually gets deeper which makes it safe for kids.The row boat was put to good use and both kids caught their first fish. Fish caught were northern pike, smallmouth bass, whitefish and perch. Jeff made sure that we had everything we needed and was very responsive to our questions. Overall I would highly recommend this cabin as it was the perfect getaway from a hectic lifestyle. Special note and thanks to the neighbor, Mrs Jans who was absolutely amazing with the kids!!

Bear Pond Rental

We had a great time at the camp. Owner very responsive to all of our inquiries. Beautiful quiet part of Bear Pond. Please know that there is AC in main cabin but none in bunkhouse. Would have made a huge difference as the garbage is right under one of the windows. I would stay again
