Pasos encantadores de Fire Island Home a la playa

Casa de 4 dormitorios, 1 y 1/2 baño a pasos de la playa y un corto paseo hasta el pueblo de Ocean Beach.

Nuestra casa tradicional de Fire Island se encuentra en una excelente ubicación y tiene todo para que su estadía sea lo más agradable posible. Hay una terraza muy bonita con una gran ducha al aire libre. En el interior hay una gran sala de estar con smart t. vy una cocina y comedor separada. Tenemos una. C. y wi-fi, sillas de playa, toallas e incluso un vagón de playa para que todo sea lo más fácil posible.

¡Levántate por la mañana y camina los pocos pasos hacia la playa o siéntate en la terraza y escucha el océano!

Normalmente alquilamos por los siguientes plazos (o cualquier combinación de los siguientes):
Fines de semana: viernes (check in 5PM) a domingo (check 3PM)
Entre semana: lunes (check in 11AM) a viernes (check 11AM)
Semana completa: lunes (check in 11 AM) a domingo (check 11AM)

Great Location, Spacious, Awesome Deck

Enjoyed every minute of our stay... house was spotless with plenty of room for everyone, the deck was open and inviting. Loved the short walk to the beach, the homeowner was friendly and attentive... answered our emails/texts within minutes. Look forward to confirming our stay for 2020

Clean, spacious, steps from the beach

Property was beautiful, just a few houses away from the beach--plenty of private deck space, beds, amenities (outdoor shower, washer/drier, etc). Owner was helpful and pleasant. Had a great group retreat here! Nothing bad to sah about the place. Quiet neighborhood.

Perfect location, charming home, well maintained, rent it!

Title says it all. Located on Wilmot, a quiet street with lush vegetation, very close to the Ocean, distant from the hubbub of down town, and crucially (from our perspective) far from the very startling noon fire siren and fire alert. The house itself is small but well laid out, with comfortable beds, a good floor plan, a fireplace in the living room, a lovely deck, and a convenient kitchen stocked with the basics (spices and more etc) that you will need. Barry, the owner, made it easy to stay in contact, volunteered to make his wagon available when we arrived and just could not be nicer. Rent it, though, please, not when we hope to sign up again!

Excellent location and host

Steps to the beach, and a five minute walk to the shopping and dining area. The rear deck was perfect for breakfast and dinner. Barry is an excellent host—he promptly replied to our follow-up questions and took care of everything.

Wonderful weekend getaway

This place is spot on! 5 houses from the beach. Comes with everything you need to enjoy a wonderful weekend at the beach! The owner was gracious and accommodating, And always a phone call away. If your looking for a great house close to the beach you have found it.

Fire Island -Ocean Beach House

My husband and I rented this property for a week in July and we could not have been happier. This house is charming and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and it was spotless when we arrived. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had and provided really good restaurant recommendations. Most of all though is the location, it is so peaceful and only a few steps from the beach. We loved sitting on the deck for breakfast in the morning and sipping wine in the evening while listening to the ocean. Absolute bliss! Thank you so much!!!

Terrific beach house

My friends and I stayed for a weekend at this beach house. It was great for a reunion weekend getaway. There were six of us and it was very comfortable. It is very close to the beach. We had a great time!

MAGICAL

If you are looking for a quiet, adorable, spotless, totally stocked (towels, sheets, beach towels, chairs), 5 second walk to the most amazing ocean beach, a landlord that is the most amazing and kind and most of all responds to every question before, during and after your stay then this is the place for you! Ocean Beach is known as The Land of No! And it is...the reason is because of people like Barry! To keep the island as it is. Deer walking around, everyone riding bikes, crickets in the evening and old fashioned family fun. And you can always go into town (10 minute stroll) and party the nigt away if you want. Then return to that magical house quietly (town rule...not his!) and sleep like babies! Wake up and take an outdoor shower! Absolutely perfect. If you want a quiet old fashioned time...this is the place for you!!!

Fantastic choice!

I've been renting houses in Ocean Beach for close to 10 years now and this one is by far my favorite! I was here with my mom & sister and we did not want to leave. The house seems to be on the quietest block in Ocean Beach. It really is only steps to the beach and it's so quiet you can hear the ocean from the deck. But above all, it had the charm we were looking for in a beach home and had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay. The host was unfailingly responsive and the house was spotless on arrival. Thanks so much for a most enjoyable vacation. Already booked for next year!

Wonderful host!

Great location close to the beach and a short walk to town. House looks as pictured. Lovely deck with an outdoor shower. Barry is the ultimate host. Very responsive and available for any questions. His thoughtful welcome amenity was an added treat.

Perfect location. Adorable set up. All amenities included. The outdoor shower was our favorite part!

Lovely Beach House!

We thoroughly enjoyed spending a few days here! The house is very comfortable and roomy, plus it really is a few steps to the beach, and a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. We found it to be the perfect location, and the house had everything we needed. The owner was very accessible and helpful if we needed anything at all. Wonderful experience!

Amazing RENTAL, Amazing AMENITIES, for an Amazing PRICE

This was well worth the money spent as the host was gracious and accommodating to our group during every aspect of my rental- from booking to the last day of our stay- he even left a wagon for us to transport our items to/from the ferry. Barry is always reachable, whether it be a phone call, text, or email. The rental was everything we could have hoped for. All of the amenities made this house as if it were our own. I could't have asked for a better experience. To say "Go with this rental and you will not be disappointed", would be an understatement of how pleased our group was to choose Barry for hosting our group. Thank you again, Barry, for a great vacation for MDW 2017!

Perfect for our Ladies Weekend

Barry's house was clean , spacious and well equipped. The location was perfect - just steps from the beach and not too far or too close to town. The air conditioning and treats in the kitchen were amenities above and beyond our expectations . Barry was a pleasure to deal with at all times .

Laid Back Beach Getaway

I stayed at Barry's house escaping the sweltering heat in NYC for a weekend. The house was perfect for our needs (a group of 8)- we spent 90% of our time on the amazing deck or wandering to and from the beach (a couple of minutes walk). The place was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook/BBQ for every meal. There was air conditioning in each room and large dining/living area if you do need to retreat inside. There was also several umbrellas, chairs and whatever else you can think of needing for a day at the beach for our use. Barry was very responsive and replied to requests or questions immediately. I received my deposit back immediately following check out. All in all, a seamless and pleasurable experience. Highly recommend!

Very Enjoyable Monday to Friday Family Vacation

Barry described this beach house very well. It is in a great location- minutes from the beach and a short walk to town. It has a comfortable and private large deck with a fine barbeque grill, lounge chairs, a table with an umbrella, and yes a great outdoor shower with a place to dress. We enjoyed the beach chairs that we took down to the beach, the excellent TV, and the fine layout of the house- the bedrooms were spaced apart so the teenaged girls could stay up late and the rest of us could go to sleep. We chose a week in August and we were happy that we had chosen a house with air conditioning. The house was well stocked with paper towels, sponges, dish soaps, t paper, beach towels, bed linens, pots & pans, a spaghetti colander, coffee pot etc. Nothing was missing. What Barry didn't say was how available he was to answer questions. He answered all my questions quickly- before the vacation and during. He is available via phone, text or e-mail. He even answered questions such as, "How do we tune in to the Olympics' Girls' Soccer game?" Ocean Beach on Fire Island has restaurants, shops, ice cream stores, bike rentals, a playground, bay swimming and of course the ocean. No cars- everything in walking distance. It is a great little town. This was a very enjoyable vacation. Judy

Top to bottom amazing experience

This was our first time renting in Fire Island and our experience at Barry's house was nothing short of fantastic! The house is warm and spacious, fully stocked with linens, paper towels, cleaning products. The best part is easily the outdoor shower. We, too, spent most of our time on the patio either hanging throughout the day or grilling with some jams playing. What impressed us most is how available and prompt Barry was with ALL our questions/concerns and all the great recommendations he made for dining & nightlife. We hope to make this a yearly tradition moving forward.

Perfect house Book now!

This house was a perfect find! First of all, Barry is a pleasure to work with. He answered all of our annoying questions with calm and ease. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. The house has been updated and is clean and inviting. There is more than enough room for all guests. The appliances are updated and CLEAN! Linen and towels are provided and are all washed and clean as well. You could also use the washer and dryer if needed. The outdoor shower was a godsend with 10 girls getting ready at the same time. Also the house is up to code as there were no circuit breaks while everyone was using their hair appliances! (Trust me, super important!!) The location is perfect- closer to the beach but a 5 minute walk to town. You can't ask for a better location. Finally, the outdoor deck was perfection. There is ample seating, a dinning table and a grill. Everything looks new and it is spacious. It was great for dinners and just hanging out. I have been renting in Fire Island for over 6 years now and this was hands down the best experience I have had.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

I cannot say enough good things about Barry and his home! We stayed in the house for 3 weekends this summer (4th of July & Labor Day included) and each time was such a wonderful experience! Barry was very helpful from day 1. I am always a bit hesitant when renting houses through the internet but Barry was kind enough to meet me in person so that I could give him the deposit. We talked for almost an hour about the house and Fire Island in general. He even gave us a list of restaurant/bar recommendations. He also made sure that every weekend we had everything we needed: propane for the grill, paper towels, beach towels, beach chairs, fresh sheets & shower towels (the list goes on and on). The house itself is just perfect. When we weren't at the beach, we spent most of our time on the patio grilling. It's a really nice set up, great for groups! Another feature that I loved was the outdoor shower. It was really relaxing and it came highly recommended by a friend of mine who stayed in the house on a separate occasion. The beach is about a 2 minute walk from the house and the town is about 7-8 minutes away (there are no cars on the island which is really nice). Barry also has a wagon in the shed if you need to get anything from the town. I definitely plan on going back next year if the house is still available! Thank you again Barry for everything this summer. I consider myself very lucky to have stayed there this summer.

Excellent Place to Stay

I stayed here the weekend of July 17 with a few girlfriends. We all had a really great time and enjoyed the house. The outdoor deck is really perfect, and we were able to grill and eat outside. Inside of the house, there was plenty of space and the bed rooms were very comfortable. The house is about a 3 minute walk to the beach, and an 8 minute walk to town. The home owner was helpful and responsive, and really helped make the trip easy and enjoyable. If you are are looking for a great place to stay in Ocean Beach, Fire Island, I highly recommend renting this property.
