Fell short of expectations.
No internet as the property owner had not paid the bill for the phone and internet. Very large 5 foot long box was in the living room, it couldn't be moved because of the weight. We had no water when we arrived. We were told to leave the faucets open until we had water. Air in the lines. Shuttle service had been cancelled and we had to pay for service over to El Tigre. The owner had never responded to the management's emails for us to be able to get the cards for access to the beach at Playa Royale. Cards were not available until Wednesday after arriving here on Monday. We were told there was a 15 percent discount but in fact it was 10 percent and only at the spa. Housekeeping informed us since we had arrived late because the airline had to reschedule our flight because of weather, they would not be cleaning our condo until checkout. The marina view was a stretch as it was a view of the yacht club. They was ants on the counters and it was constant cleaning them up. Mario the administrator of the complex made no effort at all to help with the internet, phone or any other concerns. He finally came on Friday to tell us the bill had not been paid. Everyone we dealt with told us the owner had never responded to their emails. We have stayed in this area in the past, never at this complex and this was by far sub standard. Giving it a 2 is generous.
As a condominium owner, I am responsible for deficiencies or problems in my condominium and then reporting them to my maintenance staff and property manager. I am unable to do that if I am not informed by the guest, during the time they are staying. Management is not able to respond to every issue within each condominium. This is not a hotel, but privately owned condominiums. Informing me over a week after your holiday through online review is not very helpful or fair. I will try to respond to your issues now.
I did receive one email from the Marina Residences manager, but it was two days prior to your departure date. I immediately contacted Telmex, as my bill is auto paid directly through my Banamex account, neglecting to pay was not the problem. I then immediately, emailed our manager to let him know that the issue was being resolved by Telmex.
I directed you to go directly to El Tigre office & membership cards would be issued. I had pre-registered you with their office and they were expecting your arrival. Marina Residences managers and staff have no connection with El Tigre or Paradise Village and only try to be helpful to our guests with directions etc. there should have been no delay and getting membership.
I was not aware of the shuttle service to El Tigre office being cancelled and will inquire about that. My website states approx. price - I do not quote prices or discount amounts for social membership - the prices are not in my control and change frequently.
I have no idea about a box left inside my condominium, will check on regular scheduled fumigation and if it was done, and why your schedule, pre-booked maid service was not done on schedule. I have booked a flight to my condominium to see what these issues are and why they are not taken care of.
I have rented my condominium for many years. I travel to my condominium two times a year to ensure maintenance and upgrades are done and to ensure that my condo is in top condition. It is important to me that my guests have a comfortable, enjoyable holiday. It is disappointing to me that you did not enjoy your stay. Most of your concerns and problems could have been resolved if you had text messaged or emailed me directly, immediately. The Marina Residences is know for it convenient & quiet location with views of the marina. The staff are helpful and responsive.
Our time in this condo was amazing. The location is second to none. The facility is clean and well taken care of, it is quiet and has an amazing view overlooking the marina. Dorice was very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Loved our stay at the Marina Residence. The unit was very clean, spacious and very well equipped. The location was awesome with easy access to the beach and Paradise Village in general. Having access to the beach club and sports/golf facilities was an extra benefit. Dorice was very easy to work with and went out of her way to ensure we had a most enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend and return to this location.

Our 2 bedroom condo had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. It was clean, spacious and perfectly decorated. Bedrooms were big along with the beautiful deck was awesome! Would highly recommend!
