Tranquil cottage at a great Location
I really enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler staying at this beautiful accommodation for a week. I enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere of the cottage and loved the morning light in the upstairs bedroom. The cottage reminds me of a beach side villa in the south of France. I had all the facilities I needed for the length of stay. I loved the "outside" feeling bathroom with a great out door style shower. The location is great and a short walk to great restaurants, the beach and interesting shops. The hosts were very helpful and made my stay enjoyable. Thank you. I can't wait to stay next time I'm in WA.

Lovely two storey villa in rear of family home with every amenity along with privacy. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars and shops plus CAT service into Fremantle. Highly recommend with welcoming hosts.

Great hosts, great place..
We looked for a place to escape for a few days and found the perfect location. We enjoyed the pool so much and Jen and her husband put a small cocktail table in the pool for us to enjoy our drinks and snacks! Great stay!!

Utter charm
I cannot fault this place or the host Jennifer who was friendly, helpful and generous. The residence was gorgeous and the pool beautiful. The villa is right next to the owner's house so complete privacy isn't really possible if that is a priority. However, in saying that I know the owners would respect your wishes if you wanted to be left alone. It's in a fabulous location - short walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants and all the glorious charm of South Fremantle. Highly recommended.

French Villa in Freo
I very much enjoyed my time at Chester St. Fantastic location, great pool, beautiful sunsets on the Indian Ocean just minutes away and truly charming villa with everything you could need. Loved the outdoor bathroom and my visits from Immy the sweet dog. Loved my stay- thankyou.

On arrival, the owners quickly put us at ease with a friendly and welcoming smile. Stepping into Chester Villa was a pleasant surprise with a relaxing atmosphere that piques your curiosity. Just Perfect!
My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying in the gorgeous Chester Villa of South Fremantle. Jennifer and Bob are outstanding hosts. Location is perfect, within walking distance of the beach, fabulous pizza, supermarket, bars and coffee. I am looking forward to the next time. Highly recommend!

Comfortable place to quarantine
Finding long stay accommodation for 14 day quarantine that provides access to a garden is a rare find in Perth. Chester Villa has a beautiful cosy feel with all amenities including full kitchen and laundry. Whilst it’s location near South Fremantle beach was perfect for the morning beach walk and takeaway coffee when I was released from isolation - having the space to go outside was important for the duration. Jennifer and Bob were very kind and helpful in my circumstance. Highly recommended!

Above and beyond expectations
Gorgeous house, beautifully presented with lots of thoughtful additions to make our stay perfect . Our wonderful hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. Great cosy little villa!
We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The owners were very helpful and friendly and the villa was comfortable and had everything we needed. A little cold using the bathroom but we are from Singapore! We walked to the South Beach Hotel and had a delicious dinner with wine here - highly recommend. You can also get the free bus in to lovely Fremantle from nearby the house. Overall I'd recommend this cosy villa to friends.

Fantastic little cottage for a getaway
The weekend we stayed it was storming outside but we were more than happy to hole up and enjoy the comforts the property provided. And we got some much needed rest. It is extremely confortable and very tastefully decorated. We will definately come back again.

We enjoyed our stay at Chester Villa. It is a cosy space with all the required facilities and a unique bathroom/shower that turned out to be great. Had access to free public transport and local shops. Jennifer and Bob were great hosts.

Fantastic.
Chester Villa is beautiful and we had a lovely stay. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed as a family but it would also be great for a romantic retreat. The location is perfect - a short walk from the beach, cafes and shops. Highly recommended.

Perfect for us
My primary school aged son and I stayed two nights. It was a great location. Even though there are buses available we walked into Fremantle from Chester Villa as a way of familiarising ourselves. It's not too far. Jennifer is a friendly, helpful host and the accommodation exceptionally clean. The bed/s were comfortable, with an upstairs open mezzanine level bedroom for adults and a converted day bed downstairs in the living room for a child / extra (my son was delighted with this as the tv was right there!). The converted open air bathroom had a great shower, and was not too chilly in Spring time. It definitely gave the stay that holiday feeling! It was a reasonably priced alternative to a hotel. The villa itself shares the backyard with the owner's house. This didn't bother me at all as we were given our privacy whilst being made to feel very welcome. We'll be back!

Sweet sanctuary
A stayed at Chester Villa for 2 nights with my 5 year old son. Jen gave us a box of duplo and some childrens books to keep him busy, giving me time for much-needed relaxation. Loved our mini-break - all the essentials are provided, and the decor is completely charming. Highly recommend!

Great low key place to stay
If you want a nice private place to stay within walking distance to Fremantle's nice south beaches this is pleasant place to stay. We arrived there early new years day and stayed there for four nights. We found the place very roomy, comfortable and stylish with a lot of character. If you have a rental car its easy parking and great location to explore greater Perth. Otherwise there is convenient transport links to Fremantle and then onto Perth. Its not right in the heart of Fremantle, but this is good as you feel you can come back to your own very comfortable quiet place and chill out after doing all the "touristy" things that you feel you have to do. The unit itself is very spacious and beautifully designed with "old world" charm, but at the same time being very functional, with modern conveniences. The bed is up a set of steps above and the bathroom is attached with an open shower, giving it a very "rustic" feel, but is very functional. Although they don't highly recommend children (I guess because of the steps to the bedroom), we had a three year with us and had no problems at all. She very much enjoyed the swimming pool, court yard and fell in love with their dogs whom are friendly, but not annoying. Its great to wake early on a quiet day and enjoy a walk and swim at the beach - best to go early as often the wind may come up middle of the day and then you can return refreshed after a midday swim in the pool. Its a family run place. The hosts Jennifer and Bob are very helpful and allow you plenty of privacy to enjoy the courtyard and pool. Would highly recommend this place and will certainly return there when going back to Fremantle.
