Lake Wawasee 2 Bedroom brick ranch on a level 2 1/2 channel front lots. Lake Wawasee is the largest natural lake in Indiana, four and a half miles long. Great fishing and boating. Close to Wawasee's famed sandbar. Bennington Pontoon is included for your enjoyment. Beach towels and life jackets are provided. Large screened in front porch with vaulted ceiling and lounge and dining areas, 3 nice decks with lounge/dining areas, 2 that are water side. Fully furnished kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans and dinnerware. The summer is busy with activity and the leaves are gorgeous in the fall.

The cottage sleeps 6, with a King size bed in master, 1 queen size bed in the second bedroom, and queen size sofa/sleeper in the living room, and a full size futon on screened porch. All linens are provided. Plenty of room for tents if needed.

Preferred Rental period is weekly from Saturday to Saturday with check in at 4:00 p.m. and check out at 11:00 a.m.

Great Lake Stay!

We really enjoyed this property and our stay. Easy access to lake and sandbar. The property is so well provisioned, it made the stay even better than we expected! Would totally stay again!

Great porch!

The porch was wonderful although we couldn’t sleep out there because of air quality! The lot was beautiful. And location just off the lake was great! We enjoyed the bbq and fire pit. The home itself is dated and could use some freshening up but we were mostly outside or in the porch! It was wonderful to have the pontoon and my grandkids surely enjoyed that! Greg was there when we needed him! Our family loves Wawassee!!!!

A really awesome lake rental!

Our family had a fantastic stay here and made some phenomenal memories. The location and large lot were really nice. Plenty of room for sleeping for the whole family as well. Being right off the lake in the channel and not on the lake shore was nice, especially a couple days when it was windy. The fact we could bring the whole family (including the dog) is something that’s always great. I thought the place had a good charm. We stay at a lot of rentals and this place was as well stocked as any place we’ve ever stayed. Fishing poles, tube, extra fridge in the garage, paper towel, sunscreen (bc our kids lost our one day), tons of bedding, etc. You name it, it was there! Greg was a very responsive host and was great with communication from the get go. The gas grill on the deck was 5 times as nice as any grill I’ve ever used at a rental and made for a few great evenings of making dinner. Kids really enjoyed fishing out front and the fish in the channel seemed pretty active. The turtles on ‘Turtle Point’ provided a lot of entertainment for them too. The pontoon was a huge plus and we used it all but one day. If you’ve never been to Wawasee, it’s really one of Indiana’s best lakes. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Definitely looking forward to another stay!

Loved the location

Overall we liked it…some things could be done to improve the experience. If you’re a neat freak, you’ll have the urge to clean cobwebs off the porch screen, change the furnace filter, organize the garage. But sitting on the decks watching the boats head out to the lake was very enjoyable.

Great Location!

The location of this house is its best attribute! The fact that it comes with a pontoon boat was the icing on the cake. It’s a five minute ride to the sand bar, which is a perfect location to hang out. It’s also a short drive by car to groceries and restaurants. We also boated one evening to The Frog. My two critiques are the house is in need of updates and the yard needs a geese prevention,

Lake house getaway

Great property quiet neighborhood,great communication with owner.The house is well stocked with just about anything you could need.The best part is having the boat the family really enjoyed getting out in lake and catching over 30 fish in one day including a 34 inch northern pike!

Made for Fantastic Vacation Memories

Our family vacation with kids and Grandkids, there was plenty of room for us all to stay comfortably and lots of storage space for all our bags and clothes. The pontoon and kayaks and paddle boat were a huge plus that we got lots of enjoyment out of. Fantastic location right off lake in a quiet channel with a great pier and sandbar not far away. We highly recommend! Thank you so much for allowing us to spend time in your family’s lake home.

Bungalow with great outdoor space

Old but wonderful...had to put away the outlet plug ins and candles when we arrived because it was too overwhelming and that brought out the old wood, lake smell by the end of the week. Greg was a great host and easy to communicate with! The house was well stocked and the outdoor space and boat was amazing, as we arrived late on Friday and hopped right on for an evening boat ride (easy to navigate and park on the huge pier)! Neighborhood is quiet and nice for walks!

Perfect Vacation house and location!

We had an amazing stay at lake Wawasee. We have been vacationing on this lake for over 20 years and Greg's place certainly is one of the best!!! The location is awesome and the house is very well appointed, clean and spacious. We love the huge screened porch as well the bonus Pontoon boat. Thanks so much, Greg!!!

Taking a step back in time.

The amenities with a pontoon boat, 2 canoes, 2 paddle boats on a channel provided continue entertainment for all. The house needed updated probably 1980's, and beds were very uncomfortable but it was a lake home.

Relaxing Vaca

We have rented on another lake for 20+ years and changed it up this year. This year was our best experience!! It felt like a true vacation, as the owner had plenty of towels and sheets/bedding stocked so we didn’t have to bring ours. Location is great. We loved the kayaks and paddle boat that came with it. The pontoon was in good condition. The owner communicated both before and during the trip if we had a question. A+ We will definitely be back.

I Recommend This Cottage!

This cozy cottage is a gem! Good for smaller families and family reunions (if you get creative with sleeping arrangements). Very clean and best stocked house we have ever rented! Beds for 6, but only 3 twins in 2nd bedroom can be used at one time due to space constraints (2 Twins and 1 trundle). Sofa in family room is comfy. The screened in porch (with futons) provides more sleeping space, if weather cooperates. Kitchen and bathrooms are dated, but totally adequate. Wifi, cable, etc. provided. Property is huge, shaded and perfect for volleyball, croquet, horseshoes, s'mores in fire pit and tents (if kids want to sleep under the stars!). Fishing and turtle hunting/watching right off the decks. The boat was a huge plus! Owner is amazing and very responsive. We loved it and can't wait to return.

Wawasee rental

house was nice and located on channel close to lake. It had everything we needed. fishing wasn't great, but that was due to wind 15-30mph every day.

Comfy inside and out

We enjoyed our stay very much. Home is generously stocked and had everything we needed. It is a great place to enjoy the outdoors from the large screened porch or the back deck and water side decks. The pontoon boat was fun and a really nice bonus.

First timer stayed on Wawasee lake. We felt a warm welcome from the very first moment.

We were celebrating our anniversary. This is a beautiful place on the channel of lake Wawasee. It came with a pontoon so we could enjoy the lake. We had so much fun. Thank you Greg. You made our stay perfect. I felt as though I was home. I can't say enough good things about our stay. They thought of everything you could possibly need. Just enjoy the beautiful lake.
